I was trying to think of something simple to make a bunch for stray dogs in Peru, and this is the winner! I’ll sew the “sleeve” pieces and cut arm holes once I have the dog in front of me :)
You've got a cute little baby boo there. He's a little love bug and it's obvious he feels loved because he's relaxed enough to let you manipulate him all around. I lost my little dog daughter last month after 13 years and it's really been hard adjusting. Be blessed!
Very easy to follow instructions, Great use of unused clothing items. My FurNephew will love his new sweaters, as he hates going out for relief when it gets cold out. I already have two sweaters to cut down for him. He’s a Westie 🥰

This sure looks like a sweatshirt to me, not a sweater! Good thing, too. I couldn’t figure out how you could cut into a knit or woven yarn piece without it falling apart! Otherwise, this is an excellent project.
I Just used a whole sweater on all my dogs.. I have 3 dogs 2 medium sized and 1 really big one so I used the arms for the little ones and the access for my big dog and they fit perfectly!
TIP: A dogs legs come out from under them, not from the sides like a persons arms. The dog will be more comfortable and the shirt will fit better if you will cut the leg holes more under the shirt bottom than on each side.
2019-27-Dec; Thanks, Vicky: I do for Cats_! But Bigger Dogs/Pigs/etc. I use males Pant legs! These pants also make slips for weiner pillows. Their pocket sections are used to build work aprons. RE-Clamming/re-cycle, is fine if you have excellent materials. I wash them first in disolved aisiprn (salsyic acid) 6 count to a full load. 1/2 cup soda in rinse water. The Acid kills virius/germs I've read. Wool is great cut into strips for sleeping rugs.

Hello!! We do not know exactly what breed he is since we adopted him from the pound, but the vets think he is a Cairn Terrier mix!
