Simply no path to the first team at Chelsea. The only path young talent makes there is towards the exit door being transferred for huge profits to make way for the next over-priced "bling" player for Boehly's amusement.
He's leaving as he can see a pathway to elite football with Liverpool. Chelsea has a brilliant Academy, but insists on buying a huge number of players and chances are limited.
They are not breaking any wage structure but have likely already offered string terms for his first pro contract which is due in 18 months. He is on an academy deal for now.

Elliott is underrated outside of liverpool. The England selections tells us that. He's unbelievable and will be one of the best in Europe in the next few years. He's only turned 21!
Look, it's not rocket science. Liverpool find the best talent and then work with it. _At some point though, when push comes to shove,_ you have to make a decision as to whether a player really does have first team potential or whether they're just occupying a slot that could be better utilised by a different player of greater potential. Let the young guy grow and learn.Don’t rush him he is still only a young lad .Treat him with respect and don’t put pressure on a young prospect

Liverpool winning the carabao cup with our academy has done so much good for us

Henderson never came through the youth academy. He was signed from Sunderland for 16m when he was 20
No doubt, our own Mbappe for the future, just watch this space
Because he’s a Liverpool fan
I'm sure there was similar rave when we got Solanke!
He did sell for £65m lol.

Klopp's Carabao Cup final win is going pay dividends for years.
He has Mbappe’s build.
People don't realize how significant Ngomoha's talent is, this guy has the potential of Saka at the very least
This is true
Saka....is that it?
Saka? Wow he’s going places
its more similar to chiesa or even mbappe his traits and skills, chelsea biggest lose in youth academy
He means Sack a 💩

Out of the 6 players shown…4 have been sold/loaned/fell off the radar…
He looks like another Carvalho…but if we make £20m profit in a few years 🤷🏻♂️
Doesn’t mean we didn’t help these 4 players career, we’re a top club it’s hard to break through here especially when you’re fresh from the academy

But Liverpool have sold or are trying to sell some of the ‘talents’ mentioned. Strange by FSG, when they didn’t need to sell for PSR reasons!
