I'm from Abeokuta 100%. i was born there. My parents were born there. i grew up in Abeokuta. i love that city and my Abeokuta people. Currently, i live in U.S. i 've been in states for 18 years now but i think Abeokuta is calling me to come back and stay. i want to help my people in my city. i think the best way to help them, for me, is to build a company there and hire them and i'm working towards it. i'm Lisabi son for life! cheers
i`m also from Abeokuta my both parents and lived in ABeokuta with my Grandmother and i love everythimg about my hometown, i lives in Freetown, Sierra Leone and i always talk about myy hometown
Watching this makes me love Abeokuta... I’ve heard about the calmness. I just have a thing for how calm and serene western states are. Love the video
Waka Girl I see you sis! You’re welcome anytime.
Where r u from in Abk?
I moved from Lagos to Abk some months ago and I must say I’m loving Abk . The serenity, security and ambience is just it for me. I dash into Lagos occasionally but the toxicity of that state is getting unbearable
I actually served in Ogun state and this Ise ya song I got so tired of it! 😂😂😂😂
Abeokuta is so calm and I always say it, if there’s a working train that goes to Lagos from Abeokuta, I’ld live there and work in Lagos!
Enjoyed the video!
Bemi.A awww thank you for commenting. Hopefully he train thug happens soon.
I enjoyed this video. I'm recently considering relocating to Abeokuta from Benin-city. Thank you and I'll subscribe right away
Ooooo you’re welcome! I hope you love it when you come!
You've done a whole lot for me by posting this video. Thank you Mrs Owolabi Lade.💓💯💯
You’re very welcome!
Abeokuta is so cool. The food, the ambience, and the Taxi Drivers 😀😀
Omikunle Taiwo 😂😂😂 funny enough I’ve only entered it once. I should make a video about transportation in Abeokuta.
@@LadedeO don't forget to tell us about how the taxi Drivers love turn off their engines when they are about descending from the numerous bridges in abeokuta. And the famous Panseke pedestrian bridge that is longest in sub-saharan Africa.
That bridge is a maze. Thank you 😊
I left Abeokuta in 1990 for sunny Trinidad, and I've only been back 3 times since. But I've founf myself watching these videos and vlogs on Abeokuta lately. Though you didn't tour the city, I still enjoyed your video. Perhaps a tour sometime...?
I lived at Ibara housing estate and then what was then called GRA. Your video brings back fond memories. Thank you.
Thank you for watching! Hopefully soon 🙏🏽
Wowwwww.... I came here from Tolulope’s Solutions channel and since then I’ve been watching your videos one at a time. One of the things that fascinated me about your channel is that you make videos from Abeokuta, my city, my State😃. That’s unusual, you’re the only Nigerian UA-camr that makes video from Abeokuta. That in itself made me subscribe because even though I was born there, I didn’t grow up there. But I visited at least one a year and always enjoyed the people, culture and the entire vibe the city has.
Then I came across this video, and was intrigued by all you were saying about Abeokuta. Then you included a picture of Sacred Heart Hospital, the very hospital I was born in.... wow. I don’t even know what it looked like until now. Thank you so much. Now I’m determined to visit this hospital when next I come to Nigeria.
I also love that you’re a woman of God and the content you share about Faith and God. Keep up the good work. God bless you and your family.
Queen bee you are very much welcome ! Reading your comment warms my heart. UA-cam is such a huge community. I thank God that gradually, my videos are reaching people that can relate to it and appreciate it because to be honest, it takes a whole lot to create original and quality content consistently. A comment like this is motivation to keep on keeping on.
I love you and I thank God for using you to encourage me on this journey. I pray that in all you do, you’ll experience grace and favor on all sides. God bless you!
Amazing story thanks for sharing

Glad to know someone have the eye for local architecture and appreciation of heritage buildings. We need to find a way to preserve and protect them. You make interesting comments about my town and for that I'll follow your channel.
Fun fact , I did my junior secondary school education in Oke Mosan , Abeokuta and I loved living there.
I remember when I was in primary school during the holidays I always followed my dad to Funab for his PhD research and I’ll come home to tell my mum how I wish to live In Abeokuta and raise my children.
I love how calm and peaceful the city is unlike our everyday traffic🙄🙄 here.

0806 621 6656 here’s a number of an agent that can help you with the cost of housing in different parts. His name is Lekan. Tell him Pastor Lade Owolabi gave you his number.
Just stumbled on your vlog via a Google search wondering about life in Abeokuta. Can I email to ask some more questions?
Jo A hello! I saw your email! I’d take my time to respond. Thank you for watching ❤️
The First church in Nigeria is located at badagry
No sir, I thought so too. Arguably, Badagry can be said to be the starting point of Christianity in Nigeria but not the first place to house a church. The cathedral church of St. Peters, Ake Abeokuta, is the first church in Nigeria.
Oga.. The first service was conducted in Badagry and not the first church.. St. Peter's Cathedral, Ake.
......but where in Abeokuta do you live?
i want to hang out there
It will be fun!
@@LadedeO 🙏🏻🙏🏻😎❤
Please Ma how can I get a job in Abeokuta
It takes a lot of intentional networking!!! If you’re in Abeokuta, come to Lightlife church and ask to see Pastor Lade.
