- Опубліковано 17 чер 2021
- This is officially the fastest bike in the world. As the world time trial champion, Filippo Ganna is riding this absolutely stunning chrome blue Pinarello Bolide. No stone has been left unturned in the quest to save every watt possible and ensure Ganna is as slippery through the air as he can be. Blink and you'll miss it - which would be a shame, because it's one of the best looking bikes we've ever seen!

What do you think? Is this the coolest TT bike in the peloton? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
Yes please. 😂
The Top Ganna logo is nice.
Eh These bike showcases feel like you just read the specs list off an online bike shop. No variation from video to video, super formulated and dull
The price most be real nice $15,000?
No. Don't like it. But he is fast. I always wonder if he could do it on a different bike, we will never know.
"Handmade foam armrests." Yeah they look… handmade.
Hack or Bodge?
@@gcnracing bodge
😂😂😂😂😂
Bodge unless he's never lost a Giro TT.
Look more like home made :)
Fastest bike in the world? Sure, when ridden by Ganna
ua-cam.com/video/fmqSlUcqTnA/v-deo.html
My thoughts exactly. Only fastest bike because the bionic gentleman who’s on it.
I don't think it would be very fast when ridden by me
I love these bike reviews. I’m always interested in what is new. I missed my chance to attend the Sea Otter Classic where there are a lot new bike parts introduced so your videos fill that gap. Pinarello makes beautiful bikes no doubt. This bike is both an artistic & a technical beauty. I think I’d blow out my knees trying to turn a 58 tooth chain ring. Yikes! Thank you GNC for the up close look at pro bikes.
That's a beautiful bike! Love the chrome color!
This is definitely the most unique bike I think I've seen on these
oh dear!!! That is a thing of beauty!!!! its art work
A beautiful blending of Science and Art.
Gorgeous!!!!
Very impressive and innovative useful speed machine technology review.....!
Don't really understand most of the things he talked about but love the Pinarello design.
Imagine getting a puncher, doing a bike change and still manage to finish 10 to 20 second in front of your opponents.
He's just ludicrously fast, isn't he?
Oh but we don’t have to imagine
Imagine believing that this is not assisted in any way...given the history of the sport...and the team he rides for.
It's impressive all right.
ua-cam.com/video/7LywbYHr4bI/v-deo.html
Well, one key opponent also crashed, even things out.
@@suisinghoraceho2403 That was their error, a puncture is rarely avoidable
Nice to be on a team with big money & great bikes! The advantages of riding for big teams these days are real perks for your career. Especially for someone who is a real talent. Not quite a level playing field, though.
More alloy than I thought there would be.
And since the pros use a chain catcher, that means I can use one, right?
just watched Ganna smash the world hour record. this bike is soooo hot !!! now i wonder who will challenge the hour? come on Remco !!!
The elbow pads looks like a mechanic have some fun with a eva foam and a xacto knife😆😆😆
Freehub sound was a bit pulsy, just like there is some up/down wobbling going on. Also looks like the DA 9200 crankset is hidden in plain sight on there :)
Where were we? Oh yeah now I remember... Rims4theWin.
What are these black cubes at the back of the bike? Cams?
Beautiful bike
Filippo "TOPGANNA" Ganna - TOPGUN!!!
Super cool 👍👌❤️
That’s a thing of beauty! 🥰 How much did it cost?
Ganna's small ring is almost as large as my big ring
46X30 should do most city and country hills at speed.
is it UCI legal to have the aero rim brake shape of the Bolide TT on a road bike? say a Dogma F with that kind of brake set?
Title should be " The bike of the fastest man in world"
Why are you measuring some points and not the points regulated by the UCI like saddle nose -> bottom allowed minimum 5cm when I am correct) bracket, or armpads to extension front height (allowed 10cm i think), or 75cm (+5cm) ...
dream..thank you.
Finally😊😍
How many hours , months , days, years of engineering in this ? Ready for Nurburgring
.
About as many as would take to pay for it
yeah this Pina Bolide bike is fast.....still holds the record for the fastest bike leg at Kona's 180km bike course ridden by Cameron Wurz (who currently rode for the grenidier team during his off season) few years back....
ua-cam.com/video/fmqSlUcqTnA/v-deo.html
Everyones so quick to jump online to find out the price
Also Everyone: So quick to look at another bike after finding out a Pinarello Bolide is worth 14k.....for a frameset
That is literally 99% of the populations response.. “how much was it” “how much do you earn” “how much did that set you back”.. If you have to ask then ya shouldn’t be in cycling or any sport with expensive equipment 😂
@@zwtvchannel or you just buy the planet-x knock-off for a fraction and "rip all those snobby dentists apart". Cycling does not need to be even more elitist.
You mean only the frame is 14,000? Nah, I will stick with my 2020 roubaix S-Works it’s fast too and so light.
is it a custom handlebar?
Would be really cool if GCN could interlace future pro bike videos with clips of the pro bikes in action. The whole time I’m watching this I imagine Ganna flying on this thing of beauty!
We'd love to be able to - but sadly this would mean we would have to Georestrict a lot of the videos, as we don't have rights to show most racing footage worldwide!
@@gcnracing what a still frame?
Droooool 🤤
Such a sexy frame.
It's amazing how in this day of marginal gains , when someone spins the rear wheel on a lot of top level disc wheels U can see them oscillating up and down slightly because they are out of balance , must be able to get them Smoother for a few seconds gain !?!?!
I don’t know if the wheel bring slightly out of balance would make any difference when ridden. You would need to balance the wheel with weights, like a car wheel, to get a better balanced wheel. I suspect that they don’t do this because it makes no difference.
I agree that there are gains to be had here. Just look at it lurch about. You wouldn't intentionally unbalance your wheel so why not balance it. It is likely to take less than 20g per wheel. At the speeds he rides, there must be an impact on performance, especially with bike handling.
Pinarello the best
this bike is only 820 grams heavier than wout's cervelo s5 ahahah
Dream bike
sexiest bike since Chris Boardman's Lotus. But all hail Graeme Obree's genius
What's the bike frame size?
It's a nice bike but how much does it cost
Здравстуйте. Може кто може показать рабочую ссилку на 2008 Pro Cycling manager. Благодарю.
🤩🤩
Stunner, isn't it?
Yeah, need 2 of them to finish tt.
Isn't this an old video with a new voice-over dubbed by Alex?
Nope! This was filmed at the end of the Giro by GCN Italia, and we've recorded an English voice over for it with Alex!
Erm, the bike which rides the rider?
Such a sick bike
58/46 mamma mia!!!
Not really, it's not a mountain tt bike. The low gear of 46X30 is the same as 42x26 which was low for pro's in the '70's/'80's, on steel bikes which were over 10kg in the main with not aero advantage, on a high mountain stage. And again it's the same as 53X25 which is a normal high gear for pro's on rolling stages. I doubt he'd be on 58X12 unless the road was pan flat with a tailwind or no wind or a downhill section or slight depression.
Nelle crono del Giro 2020 aveva un 60 se ricordo bene
😍❤❤My dream bike❤
What happened to having balanced wheels? Am I missing something?
was it ever a thing? :-)
@@geisslersonMC Certainly was when I was DH racing. Pushing the limits of cornering speed with that sort of wobble, no thanks.
@@jakeLVRC thats why you aint breaking no world record
Think I want one 🤔 but don't want to Think about what it costs 😕
Ang sarap isemplang nan.
What's the damage$$ on this bad boy ?
Serve pra me passear
19 lbs wow would think less
Strange that they still run 2x? I can’t think of a tt he has won where he would have needed the small ring.
I think it's to do with being able to use a regular rear mech without a clutch - which is a bit more efficient. It also allows for a more optimum chainline, again for a little bit more efficiency! (I'm sure it's something they've put hours and hours of research into!)
@@gcnracing There's no need to use clutch rear mech for 1X, the real reason is that Shimano dura ace chainring does not comes with NW tooths
Anyone else upset by the top tube stickers not being flush with the frame? this nice of a bike... and the stickers are falling off... ooph
A size 55cm for a dude 193cm tall??!! 🤯
TT bike innit ;-p
Not sure if they correct. He certainly doesn’t use an unusually small frame in his road bike. Def questionable. .
I don’t know if it’s still the case but 55 cm used to be the largest size available for the bolide
With the TT bike you have to add on the length of the aero bars, to where the grips are, compared to the hoods on a road race bike. It's a bit like the equivalent virtual top tube length to a 56cm drop bar road bike frame for a flat bar hybrid is about 62cm, because of where the grips are on the hybrid relative to the hoods on a road bike (and even then there's always going to be a longer reach to the hoods). The other difference with the TT bike is how steep the seat tube is and how far forward the saddle is mounted on the seat post - I suppose it's just all completely different sizing.
@@OFFSHOREDOUG body position on a TT bike is hugely different then on a road bike and also you use different muscles for more power on those 2 bikes.
Looks like wheel balancing is not on the list. Many watts there.
The higher the speed, the more the watt loses.
58T??? OMG🤤🤤🤤🤤
Beauty! I heard he also fills the water bottle with carbonated water so it's much lighter than normal! SAVAGE
I will have 2 please.
will he ever get into 46-30 in a time trial?
In climbs
Filippo's the top gun, believe dat (use murica accent)
Hidden valve cover... but the valves extend past it... why? lol
Is it the fastest bike because of the engineering or because the person who rides it?
Who would say that the fastest bike in the world is clincher and not a disc one!!!! Surprised!!??
uuuff! after seen this bike , I,m going stright to have a cool shower!
#savetherimbrake
Even if the the hub was silent everyone round the world would think it's more AERO and buy em wheels😂😂😂😂
Surprising crank length.
Update: "4th Fastest Bike in Italy."
Wins totally came from the bike, not the rider.
I told Filippo to return my bike as soon as he was finished with it, obviously that went through one ear and out the other 🤣🎉🤣🥳🤣🎊
If you have seen a Pinarello Bolide in the wild, consider yourself lucky
If I ever own a TT bike, this would be it
Ok, then prepare to drop something like 25k euros 😂😂😂😂 this is literally the most expensive bike on the whole peloton
How are you planning to turn that 58 tooth chainring?
@@VaibhavTipnis On the flat with the wind behiiiind meeeee.
8,93 Kg for a bike like this is f**king heeeeeeavy, WTF ??
Except for many recumbents, lol.
UCI would ban this... If he won another TT
Ca dichire
*the fastest UCI legal bike. :)
193cm tall, rides a 55cm bike...
6ft 4 and rides a 55!? what the
Copying my bike, 25 up front, 28 on the rear..........just like a race car!
23/25
Sorry guys but I prefer Bugatti Bolide xD
I never understood the fascination with freehub sound checks. Then again, I have no use for a freehub on my bike.
Me either. Occasionally you get a Chris King or something that sounds like a plane but otherwise they're pretty much the same.
@@whatwelearned not exactly what i meant, but sure.
To be correct, this isn't the fastest bike in the world, this is the fastest UCI approved bicycle in the world.
And - as said the video, some parts of it are now forbidden.
Fastest bike in the world, has nothing at all to do with the bloke sitting on it. 🙄
Dont be fooled with all the bs....if you noticed gana did final tt at giro with a normal drink bottle in the upright position.....there been few tt where ineos riders use normal bottles.
Pinarello + Shimano is like pizza + pineapple...
Nope
Nope 2x
Pizza + pineapple is also good🤩
ahaha you ain't wrong my friend! Campy screams for vengeance!
Wait…. 8.93 kg? That’s impossible! Durianrider says anything with rim brakes has to be weighted down to meet UCI regulations. TT bike or not, as long as it has rim brakes it doesn’t matter. No other components matter. Should be a featherweight ..
Being a TT bike, the weight isn't an issue... however that wheelset is 2Kg, and the massive chainring isn't helping matters.
Obviously nobody understands satire
And I’m the “genius”
@@seniorcycling5352 we can assume you're not a satire genius then.
$$$$$$$ not for the common rider
I prefer gravel bikes
No way can it be faster, it has rim brakes, they are less aero.
You think two chunks of metal disks with brake housing are more aero?
no one asked
"Fastest bike in the world" Where is the engine? The bike will not even stand up without help, it just falls over without someone holding it. Little aero tubes compared to the rider with shoulders as wide as a stop sign. Yes, save seconds every hour you ride this bike on your 50 mile route from home. We now have carbon technology to make a TRUE aero bike with fairings built in to wrap air around a riders body...and with these fairings it will not weigh more than a race bike used in the 1980's. When are they going to build a bike for the 99.99999999% of riders who do not race?????
Good grief that is one ugly bike!
