I felt like we started chatting at a coffee shop, just two strangers getting to know each other, enjoyed very much! I think your home is amazing, warm and welcoming!
Hi ADELINA, I've yet to watch one of your videos which I I didn't thoroughly enjoy, and this one is, as ever, a jewel. I too love animals, and share my 1,100 sq ft single story town house with my 14 yr old Mountain Feist dog, adopted at age one, Harper Lee, and my 4/5 ? yr old short haired tuxedo cat, given to me by my granddaughter when one of her neighbors moved and left the cat to fend for itself, Squeaky. I feed, groom, and take care of them, and they entertain, comfort, and listen to me talk, talk, and talk. If I had ever in my 77 years today, found a man who greeted me the way Harper Lee and Squeaky do when I return home, whether I've been away for ten minutes or hours, I would not be twice married and twice divorced. As you can tell, I have no problem talking about myself, so it is difficult for me to understand why you have a problem talking about yourself. You are an extremely warm, genuine, funny, interesting person, and I've always felt like you are talking directly to me, but maybe I too would have your problem if I had a UA-cam channel and knew I could possibly be talking to, as is your case, 18K people, plus an almost limitless number of others. You keep taking good care of yourself, be safe, keep posting your great videos, and I'll keep showing up in your comments section. Much love, Alice in South Carolina, US.
I am also vegan for the animals. Went vegetarian 32 years ago, raised my kids from birth that way, and gradually got all rid of all animal products. I find being vegan is actually easier for me because the line has been drawn, no more occasional snicker bars, nothing. I hope more people learn about the reality of the meat and dairy industry, and the harmful effects it has on other living things, the earth, and your health. Thank you so much for sharing a bit about your journey, you are a joy to watch. ❤️🙂
I think you are quite admirable. I will likely never make it as a vegan but that doesn't mean I don't support it. I tend towards urban farm, self-sufficiency myself. This little old place will never be off grid but every little step I take gets me closer. I really like watching your videos. You are an inspiration. Please keep going! My chatty cat Peaches says "hello" to Sofie.
One thing I love about your vlogs is the easy, natural way you chat to your viewers. During these times of isolation it makes me feel like I am chatting over coffee with a good friend. Thanks! Stay safe and well.
This was delightful to hear about you! I’m originally from Texas but have lived in Saskatchewan for 38 years now and became a Canadian citizen in the process. I too love living here, cold and all. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
Sharing about yourself is what makes your channel feel like we are having a cup of coffee with you! All the information about living tiny, being vegan and working towards a sustainable retirement is very much appreciated.
Thanks for sharing! I enjoyed your stories! We have a few things in common. I myself moved to Montreal from Haiti when I was 4 years old, but now live in the US. Im also a vegan for the same reason as you.I appreciate you putting yourself out there!
Wonderful to be part of your life! We bought some land and wanted a tiny house, but for now we got a small mobile home. Hopelly we get our dream come true soon!!!
Thank god for your cat jumping up on the back of the sofa at 3:30 to knock the toy off. I was mesmerized by it, trying to figure out why you had a.....toad? baby owl? chipmunk? back there.
You have been strong and independent all your life , I love that!! I too, have always had cats for pets, they are loving, peaceful, and steadfast. My kitty is my buddy, he gives me just the right amount of affection! He is by my side throughout each day, whether I am at my desk or in the kitchen, his only joy is to be with me!
Thank you for taking the time to sit down and go through a few things - just starting out on my own Tiny journey and your thoughts and answers have helped a lot! I also have cats and enjoying seeing tiny dwellers with their pets :D!
I appreciate you taking this time to fill us in a bit about you. I figured you were not keen on the self revealing element yet I believe stretching yourself to engage more personally will boost the growth of your page or whatever they're called. Maybe you could try once a month orconce a quarter to start. Even if you cannot bring yourself to talk specifically about you, you might tell a story about a person who impacted you or some such. Loved it!! Thank you much.
Gosh I can only add to the many comments saying how lovely, courageous and yet humble you seem. And this was before you even mentioned being vegan. I am so happy I came across your channel!
Had to laugh when Sophie rushed in meowing when you shook the Temptations packet! Our girl loves them too. Very brave taking the plunge to get your tiny house but bet it's been worth it. It's often a case of fear of the unknown.
Great video! I enjoyed learning more about you, your cat, kids, family, and of course, your tiny house. Seeing your videos is such a joy. You look so relaxed and happy. They inspire me to “dream tiny”.
I really appreciate your story of your immigrant family and your gratefulness at being welcomed into our country. Although I was born in Canada, my parents were also European immigrants who fled a very difficult circumstances to find a new start in Canada. I think that we all need to think about our roots and to be welcoming to immigrants who find shelter in our country in these difficult times in our world.
Thank you for sharing a little about yourself! All of your videos are so informative and enjoyable and you are so pleasant to listen to. I look forward to your next video.
I came upon your videos yesterday for the first time and I am enjoying learning about your experience living in a tiny house. We are practically neighbours as I live in the same mobile park as you do. 😊
Great video! Thank you! I have 2 long haired chihuahua’s, and I would probably be crazier than I already am without them. I got my first one when my cat Emma, was 16. She tolerated them, but never really liked them. (She passed away 1 1/2 years ago at the age of 19).
Haha she wasn’t quite as quick and agile as the cat in the commercials. Guess she knows she doesn’t need to do any fancy moves to get at the treats. Love listening to you and thankyou for putting these videos together
You did a great job. I know how awkward it can be talking about yourself! You sound like someone I’d enjoy having a coffee with. That’s always been my measurement of a great person 😂 enjoy your day and our lovely Canadian weather! Hi to beautiful Sophie! ❤️❤️
I think you’re a beautiful soul! I have 2 Ragdoll cats and I agree....they are company to me when I feel alone. Thank you for sharing! I love your hair curly! ❤️
I enjoyed hearing about some of your background!I just love your tiny house and your cat Sophie!❤️ my cat died about eight months ago. I’m not sure about another💔! I can only imagine what a help she has been during these times! We in Upper Michigan are getting the January cold snap now(-29 degrees wind chill) You can probably relate to that!??
Always enjoy listening to people's life story!! Again thank you for sharing!! Cheers. I accomplished a lot by simply watching your videos. Thanks!! Yes click on the bell! Bye
Thank you so much for letting your hair down and letting us connect with you. You are an interesting person. I am living vicariously through you. Love ya
The number one reason I choose a vegan lifestyle is because of the animals. One of the things that surprised me is how much I enjoy cooking. I went from not knowing the first thing about vegan cooking and couldn't imagine what my diet would be to trying so many things I didn't know about. I'd love to know what (if anything) surprised you when you began your vegan journey. It makes me so happy when I see people close to my age that are vegan or even trying to be.
Muna, like you, I never knew what real cooking was until I went vegan. I also liked to cook but didn’t love it. Now I love making meals from scratch with the world of fruits, vegetables and plant foods that are available. I didn’t know vegan cooking was so varied and delicious!
@@ajvintage9579 So many positive changes since I eliminated meat and dairy. It's amazing. I'm grateful to the people that devote their time to making recipes and sharing.
I've enjoyed watching the videos about your tiny house life. I've watched other tiny house videos, but I really like how you made your house and the layout, because I too would not like having to climb into a loft, etc. You do have storage steps to your bedroom and that is great, plus you do have the other loft for storage or whatever you would need. You really have thought it out well. I love the kitchen layout and the special made cabinets, the built in pantry space, the air exchange system to keep down moisture, etc. VERY well thought out. Nice!
Good Morning, this Video was so, Wonderful, your Home is Beautiful, you look, a Great with Curls, your Cat story was so, Precious, I would have done the same thing. To know You are Vegan put a Smile on my Face, for I am 9 years Vegan and for I love this Loving Lifestyle, thank you for sharing your Lovely Story, have a Wonderful, Wednesday, love, Diana Lipski, you look absolutely, Beautiful and Fit 😍
Thank you for sharing. I, too, do not like to draw attention to myself. Thank you for opening up. I have wanted a tiny house so long but still so scared to take that first step. You are so inspiring.
I’ve recently found you when scrolling through organizing videos. Watched your home tour and love your beautiful home. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life, and at this point I have a 19 year old calico and a 9 year old tortie! They keep me hopping to take care of their every need! Recently lost my 17 year old Jack Russell Terrier, Josie, which was devastating because it happened without warning, a blood clot and seizures 💔🐾🐾 I look forward to more of your wonderful videos!
I always look forward to seeing you. Sometimes when you do something scary , just have to put one foot 👣 in front of the other Like you said . I would think having two small boys to support by yourself, would be scary. No matter if it was by choice or not
I like all your great information. You have a very comfortable communication style and voice that is gentle and easy to listen to. I hope you have a long and happy tiny house journey.
Just love your videos. You do give hope that the tiny life style is doable, and are so easy going and open. thank you for talking about your journey - it's more helpful than you know.
Thanks for the personal chat. I feel like I have a lot in common with you (animal and cat love) and could be friends in real life. During these quarantine years it is nice to have a friend to talk to, even if you are doing all the talking. You are giving me lots of ideas and inspiration regarding vegan cooking and tiny house life. Keep making videos, hope you don't run out of ideas, I know it takes a fair amount of planning to put together a UA-cam video but keep up the good work!
Fabulous Adelina. I'm very proud of you.😻 (My mother came from another country, to the U.S. by herself...and my parents went to Calgary, where I was almost borm.) You inspire me for many different reasons, especially for taking the time to make your videos and share about yourself. I hope to extend myself more, too. My kitty says hi. @@myBIGtinyhouselife Hi! I'm headed out to donate blood...just a p.s...we have the same hair. Lol. 🤓 But, I've been struggling with it not behaving lately. What do you use on it? Thanks!
Adelina: Thanks for the info about your continuing life saga;very informative. I hope you can get to Vancouver Island;for the milder winters and the outdoor fun! Victoria is very expensive, but up the road around Ladysmith or Nanaimo you can have the lifestyle you desire. There are mobile parks on Jingle Pot Road in Nanaimo. Also up Island around Comox I remember seeing some parks. I'm partial to the Island as I grew up around Campbell River and we had some great times around Miracle Beach and many other venues! You'll have to get your boys to join you on your "westward trek!" Your Sophie, too! Cheers-Sandy&Andy from Penticton (another wonderful place!)
Been binge watching your more recent videos, and enjoyed this one. It answered so many of the questions i had, about being a vegan just one. I'm a vegetarian, animal lover. Only can see eating dairy or eggs if they were my pets, thats how i would consider them part of the family.
You're amazing. I feel like crying (well, I'm on day 11 of covid also, lol, emotional about everything) but I can so relate. Just go for it! That's where I'm at in my life also. I'm 56 and have been battling the trauma of multiple abusive relationships, unjust poverty, single parenthood, and professional assassinations, but enough is enough! My only way out is entrepreneurship, but I am very skilled and equipped for that, just have to GO FOR IT! You are truly inspiring me madam! God bless!
"Just do it Scared" I tell myself this phrase at least once a month. I also tell myself, if it's meant to be, it's up to me. So far so good because looking back, is defeating the purpose of living my adventure.
I stopped eating meat and dairy for health reasons. Now I feel for the animals. But first it was to become healthier. I do eat shrimp once in a while though.
Although I am from the Lethbridge area, I have worked close to the NWT. Now in my 60s, I feel the need for a little more warmth than most Canadian winters give.
Thanks!! Your words came at a great time, since only moments ago I sent payment for a tiny Class C camper - my first, and well researched, but still nerve-wracking. Your calm and warm demeanor is a breath of fresh air, and always welcome.
Well loved the video, and 😉 your hair. We sold our land so guess no tiny house for us. NS hasn’t gotten on bandwagon much yet. But our house is 972 sq ft so not big. Lol great video.
Love your videos. I am a curly girl who during the pandemic decided to brace my curls, it was so freeing. I am vegan because of the animals as well. I relate to you very much… also a cat lover. My little girl Stella we rescued from a kill shelter, after we lost our cat Franny who passed at 8 years old from kidney failure. Miss her Stella is the boss, and it’s ok, they are with us such a short time, we spoil her but we get so much love in return
I loved this! Very interesting to get to know a little more about you and your lifestyle. 😊 also: when the time comes for a dog, I’d like to recommend a mini schnauzer! I’m in love with them and they do not shed at all! 🥰
Thank you for sharing. I’ve been wrestling with myself on next steps and could not see the RV life long term. Your tiny home on wheels has me glued to your videos and you are engaging, informative, and a pleasure to spend time with in this virtual contact . Stay healthy and thanks for talking to us!!!
Hi I first found you when I started my research on tiny homes. I loved your taste and colors. So happy to find you have a channel and I’ve gotten so many good tips. I’ll keep tuning in and hope to try a recipe.
You are so charming. Just found your channel and decided to subscribe. I always thought I could live in a tiny house. I chose a small cottage on the lake instead. When the kids left (single mom too) I downsized from a 2,000 sq ft house to 850. My worry with a tiny house was always where I could park it, as they are not yet fully accepted in communities and there are so many by laws. I live in Ontario so have cold winters but not as cold as Alberta for sure. I do love your home. It's very livable but I am a bit taller and older than you so would want a stand up bedroom. Thank you for sharing a bit about yourself. Really enjoyed hearing it.
I felt like we started chatting at a coffee shop, just two strangers getting to know each other, enjoyed very much! I think your home is amazing, warm and welcoming!
Thanks Heide 😊

have the lifestyle you desire. There are mobile
parks on Jingle Pot Road in Nanaimo. Also up
Island around Comox I remember seeing some
parks. I'm partial to the Island as I grew up
around Campbell River and we had some great
times around Miracle Beach and many other
venues! You'll have to get your boys to join
you on your "westward trek!" Your Sophie, too!

wonderful place!)
Thanks for those ideas! ☺️
I can't tell you how much I appreciate you. Your videos are very encouraging.
Thank you ❤️.
God bless!
Good for you! I hope you are doing well now ❤️🙏🏽.
"Just do it Scared" I tell myself this phrase at least once a month. I also tell myself, if it's meant to be, it's up to me. So far so good because looking back, is defeating the purpose of living my adventure.
I love your saying so much! I’m going to use that too! ☺️🙏🏼
I stopped eating meat and dairy for health reasons. Now I feel for the animals. But first it was to become healthier. I do eat shrimp once in a while though.
I love the fact you can sit and talk and not spill your coffee!!! Lol. Loved the treat at the end.
😁
Love this video, I wish I could convince my husband to move into a tiny
Enjoyed the visit.
Although I am from the Lethbridge area, I have worked close to the NWT. Now in my 60s, I feel the need for a little more warmth than most Canadian winters give.
Exactly 😊
Thanks!! Your words came at a great time, since only moments ago I sent payment for a tiny Class C camper - my first, and well researched, but still nerve-wracking. Your calm and warm demeanor is a breath of fresh air, and always welcome.
Congratulations! ☺️
Miss her
Stella is the boss, and it’s ok, they are with us such a short time, we spoil her but we get so much love in return
Hi! Yes dogs have owners and cats have staff….us! 😁
Nice to know more about you Adelina. Thanks for sharing. I’m Enrico, my friends call me Rico, live in YYC too. I’ll be watching a lot of your videos.
Thanks Rico 😊
I loved this! Very interesting to get to know a little more about you and your lifestyle. 😊 also: when the time comes for a dog, I’d like to recommend a mini schnauzer! I’m in love with them and they do not shed at all! 🥰
It was a pleasure to get to know you a little better! 😊 look forward to your next video.
Thanks so much 😊
Hi
I first found you when I started my research on tiny homes. I loved your taste and colors.
So happy to find you have a channel and I’ve gotten so many good tips.
I’ll keep tuning in and hope to try a recipe.
I’m so glad 😊
Just discovered your channel and subscribed. Looking forward to learning more.
Thanks Cindy ☺️🙏🏼
Great video 👍 It is so nice to meet you 😁 thanks for all your honesty. I always look forward to your videos. Sophie is a real gem 💎
I really admire you. Your self confidence is inspiring. Thanks for sharing your lifestyle with us.
