It’s a new life style. I personally went from 298 to 152lbs (weight as of today) by simply eating off of a saucer instead of a plate. I have issues with not being able to eat what I want. So instead of a bowl of ice cream I would have a cup. 5 cookies to 1-2 cookies. 4 pieces of pizza to 2. Cut soda out completely. I only drink water period. Walked 2 miles a day with weights. It’s been 10 years and still have not lost the remaining 10lbs. I am 50 y/o so I have menopause thing going on. It’s ok. So much better then I was. Congrats to you.
@Trina Wiggins That is an inspirational story, thank you for sharing! It's really about consistant self control right? I am beginning on my journey. I have always weighed 150 and 5'4" but since covid I have gained up to 198. I'm 63 so know my metabolism isn't like it was before menopause. God bless you and your family in Jesus's mighty name!🤗🕊🔥✝️💖💕❣
I rejoined WW yesterday and I am doing the blue plan. I just followed you on connect. I have 101 pounds to lose. Yesterday and today I went over my daily points as I haven't been to the store yet. I just wanted to get started as fast as I could. You are an inspiration!!
Great job on the weight loss! Thanks for sharing. How’s it going now? Would love to see more recent videos of what you’re eating to maintain & stay for:). Thanks so much!!
Potatoes say they're free for me but only boiled and only 1/2 cup at a time. Maybe they changed their plan features because my plan doesn't include meat, dairy, or eggs. EDIT when I say my plan I mean when I signed up I picked which foods I liked as my free foods and I did not include the lean meats or low fat dairy but I included potatoes.
I enjoyed your story so much! You are very inspiring , but one thing I don’t understand is What do you literally mean by “ finding opportunities for maintenance “? Thanks! Carole
That's a great question. What I mean is---it is ok to take a break and maintain! If you have something come up in your life, it's OK to pause and learn how to maintain. While you're in a stressful time at your job, while you're potty training your kids, when you're on vacation, while you take care of an ailing parent. If you need to take a break from weight loss, use is as an opportunity to maintain your weight loss and adjust your goal....it can really help with the mindset once you do reach goal!
