I had a vanity when I was a little girl. It was perfection with a drawer, a mirror, a stool and a beautiful skirt curtain around the bottom. I dearly loved it but when we got new bedroom furniture, it was given away. Fast forward about 25 years and after my husband heard me reminiscing about how much I had loved it, he bought me a vanity as a surprise! It's been in my bedroom for twenty years and I use it every day. I love how you created the perfect spot for your beauty rituals.

Charlotte, you are the absolute cutest. I have to agree with you, a vanity space is an absolute must! I use a vintage desk with a lot of drawers as my vanity. It's in a perfect little nook off of my bathroom, with a vintage art-deco seat and an elaborate old mirror. The space is decorated with beautiful portraits of Victorian women I got from my Grandmother. It is my happy place and every time I sit down there I feel relaxed and ready to care for myself and play with makeup. You have inspired me to find joy in the little things. You spread positive energy and it is so refreshing. Thank you!

I have always loved makeup. Started with skin care a while back as well! I have to admit I have taken a few tips from you and I really do take a few minutes every night to take care of my skin, wash off my make up, etc- just me! We will be moving soon (hopefully) and I will have more space than what I do now. I won’t be able to have a complete vanity like yours because I have kitties and they get into everything. But I am excited to have more counter space and storage space for my growing collection of skin care products. Extra note: I use reusable make up remover pads. I think they are a great invention. They come in a mesh bag. As you use them place them back in the mesh bag and throw it in the washing machine. I also switched to vegan and cruelty free skin care and makeup... :) because I am a vegetarian and animal advocate 🐾 ❤️ 🌎 🌱
My skincare routine looks a lot like yours and other routines as well (although I seriously never thought of them as high maintenance until you mentioned it in other vids) so thanks to you I’m going to invest in a makeup vanity, robe and silk pillowcase when I get paid lol. I’ve always been big on self-care but I’m going through a tough life transition and need to really step it up moving forward plus I definitely let some things go during COVID that I need to implement again.

I really want to re-do my beauty room but I feel like I spent so much money on the ikea stuff that I want to use it as long as possible before replacing it with a cuter desk! lol There are so many good vanities available on facebook marketplace and I am constantly tempted to get an old vanity off there.
