I have to tell you this but Sagola has made top of the line spray guns for a very long time. Their quality isn't the issue, their support certainly is. Here in America they come in and out of the market about every five years leaving their faithful customers high and dry. Their most recent looser distributor is Roberlo which is a paint company. These losers had a very nice booth at SEMA pushing their paint (I have no idea as to whether their paint is any good or not so that's not the issue) the issue is that as the official American distributor of Sagola spray guns they didn't have a single Sagola gun displayed in their booth. Obviously, they don't give a shit about Sagola spray guns. If Sagola would ever find a distributor like DanAm (SATA) they would kill as their guns are fantastic. I have and use Sagola spray guns but I can't recommend them over SATA, Iwata or DeVilbiss because down the road you're not going to be able to find replacement parts or different sized needles and nozzles for you guns and you're not going to be able to send them into DanAm (which you can routinely do for your SATA guns) and have them rebuilt. Sagola needs to find the balls to open an American office to sell and service their tools. Unless they do that I can't recommend them in spite of the fact that they're as good as any spray gun on earth and better than most. The 4600 Xtreme is easily on par with the SATA 5000 and the SuperNova WS400 and I have all three. The other advantage of the Sagola is that there are no plastic baffles to wear out which need to periodically be replaced. The entire gun is metal. Super spray guns, shitty customer support.
+SATAMAN Schmidt My friend say no more you have said it very accurately!!!!!!! I completely agree with you and hopefully I can be part of this change because I'm truly liking this guns ! I'm sending this comment upwards! Please stick around my channel I need someone ten time more knowledgeable than myself helping painters out here! Thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm grateful you are here!
I've been using Sagola guns here in the U.S. since 1995. Yes, they were hard to ge t for some time. Now I just order through Autobodystore.com
These are awesome guns, esp. the mini/midis! But Sagola's biggest problem has always been distribution, as getting spare parts or even the guns is a PITA even in many european countries (mind you, Sagola is based in Spain). I know that some shops canceled their dealings with them because of poor distribution.
+Chuck Thomas let's hope I can be a small difference in that ! I really like their guns
I have a Sagola Xtreme and it's one of my favorite guns. It's got the most even, consistent pattern of any gun I've ever sprayed. I love it for clear coat, it sprays a little light for base but it's amazing for control coats because of how even it is. But trying to find parts or service in the US, good luck.
And I also have the 5000r.p 1.2 tip but give me some info on it. Explain the difference between a sata and a supernova but we only paint solvent in the Bahamas and Caribbean
GOT A CALL 📞 FROM SAGOLA HAHA 😄!
GOT THE SAME SPRAY GUN GABRIEL BUT IN THE NON DIGITAL VERSION MATE IAM GETTING THE SAME SAGOLA EXTREME 4600 1 3 BUT IN THE DVR CLEAR CAP DIGITAL
Great video Gracias. Those Sagolas look good.
I've been using the Fuji MPX 30 for a little over a week love it for base
Can you give us an opinion on the Sagola on this Video vs the Tekna Basecoat? Which gun can a rusty painter that has retired over 15 yrs ago benefit from best? Your respond will be much appreciated! Keep up the good work!
+Ziontrain7 hey brother the cheapest one. In this case tekna basecoat 😀
David m. Here a phone call lol I began look at this gun to buy. .I am now . Cornwell tools had them on sale!!! On a other note my painter's friends I lost my dear Mitch body/paint man who took me under his wing taught me my skills as a painter/body man . So to all painter's / bogeyman. God bless you . Thank you gabreil . For what you do .
+David Macias 😁😁 sorry to hear that my man!! Now it's time for you to do the same with a younger dude !
Hi , did u try gun Ani black plus ?
Hey really like the videos! Nothing beats seeing a wet coat of clear coat being applied! It would be really cool to see the vehicles outside(after they have been painted and reassembled) so we can see the real depth of the paint.
+Rafile Ayubi yes of course ! I will start doing that not soften 👍
did you use the 1.3 tip as well for the clear ? Is there an advantage in applying clear with a 1.2 tip
+Julian Bacchus I haven't since I don't have it. You would be a more slower application with a 1,2
Nice Job Gabe 👍🏾I talked to my jobber today about purchasing your blowers and keeping them in stock🤞
+Nick Sandoval that would be so amazing man! A great way to support the channel!
I got a set of sagolas and sold my Satas love my digital sagola the spray is so fine ,it’s very refined spray gun
Awesome!
Awesome guns..high quality guns
Have you done review about satajet 5000 1.2rp ever or is that gun one of those you dont like or you dont have?
Haha that's a good question. I haven't done one I dunno maybe I just guess everyone has seen it before
MOTIVATED PAINTERS I bought 5000 1.2rp to my new base gun as my paint dealer recomended it after I told them maybe its time me to buy a new base gun since my iwata is already 5 years old. All I get from that satajet gun is motling with silvers and bad metal blendings. I think im gonna try using it as a clear gun and go back to supernova ws400 as a base gun which I love and I get my blends work so ez. I have had that gun like 5-years already so im quite familiar with it. I use spies-hecker hi-tec water base. Thats why I asked if you ever tried 5000 and made review about it cause i just wanted your opinion from that gun. Im sure its a great gun and one to blame is myself for bad results with metallics.
im painting using debeer berobase 500 series, a nice metallic, i have a primer gun, but i am looking for a base/clear gun, debating on the sagola 4600 or the sata 1500 or the sata 5000 with the digital pressure displays, my clear coat is about a week backordered so im hoping to get the gun ordered too (;
From those choices I would go with the sagola 4600
Thanks ! i enjoy your videos mate , theres a local guy here selling his walcom 360 geo for 300 which is cheaper than the sagola 4600, but on your 2 cents im guessing sagola still is the best choice?
Don't get a Geo get a Carbonio
Gabiral do u sell any of your old paint guns u don’t use anymore
+Quats C I use them all but if want to sell one I either put it on Instagram or Facebook group motivated painters
How did you change it from bars to psi?
Good question not sure
Can you spray solvent paint out of that gun. I don’t see a regular base coat gun from Sagola
Absolutely
@@MOTIVATEDPAINTERS That’s all I needed to know. I have the DVR clear digital extreme. I just want a base coat gun from Sagola. I’m about to order it right now. Thank tou
Thanks.. about to order the digital right now
Ai porfavor manda uma pistola dessa ai pra mim as minhas são muito sempres
Claro que si!!! Gratis ? 🤪🤪🤪
DID YOU SPRAY THE CLEAR WITH THE GUN ALSO.. AND IF SO. WHAT TIP DID YOU USE?
Nice!
Saludos Gabriel , cual es tu recomendación para comprarme una spray gun pero que no sea tan expensive.... $80 to $200 range
Chuta eso está difícil! Quizás una tela prolit usda de Ebay
Gracias Gabriel, What about the SEGOLA 3300 have you try it? What do you think of the BLACK WIDOW from harbor freight
Sagola is a great gun! Black widow I have never tried it
Yo GABE
How would the aqua cap be with solvent base Basecoat
+Gia Vanni not sure my friend I don't use solvent but I'm sure it would be fine
Sagola recommends the HVLP aircap for that but from my experience the AQUA and the HVLP are quite similar the clear cap has a lot finer atomization which is actually not desirable for base. I think THE GUNMAN uses the AQUA cap with solvent base and he loves it.
Does it work with solvents?
Absolutely!
nice gun now i want one of this😂
+Jaime Rodriguez hahaha
Sagola spray suit 😉???
+kevin hekers yuppers
I need some help..I'm looking for new good gun and I think about GTI Pro Lite T110,Sagola 4600 Titania or Sagola 3300 Pro Evo...I will use it for both base and clear coat HS.. Which will be best and why?
I don't have huge experience with this particular guns but from those I will go with the sagola because it will work well for base and clear breaks down the material well
😍😍😍😍😍
For you allways 👍
+matic brate 😀😁😀
God bless you too
+Jose Alejandro Montalván Ramírez you too brother !
Is that gun specifically for water?
I believe he uses ppg water base paint. So that may be a yes. :)
charmoines jordan. Tgis is what i found onpine. Lol
- High precision air flow regulator
- Perfect waterborne paint uniformity
- Economic in paint consumption
- Easy and smooth handling
- Maximum product transfer
+charmoines jordan you can use it for whatever but they market it for watermark

+nunya your business thanks man !!!!¡
Nice gun how does it compare to the matco gun
+Michael Cobb it's better since it breaks down the paint better!
Are you still using your Matco gun ?
+scotye g absolutely!!!
