Dave Brock did a good job singing! Sounds a lot like Jim and resembles him but he doesn’t parody him or mock him. He respects the songs! Jim only sang this live a couple of times at the end. The Doors didn’t get to your with the LA Woman album. They would have knocked people out its such a great album! So this is great to finally see and hear this! Along with Riders on the Storm live! Another classic! 😎👏🏻🎸

What would Jim look like today??? He may have aged badly due to all the years he likely would have continued drinking. I think he would have received help eventually to get off everything. Idk, he would have possibly seen Pam die of heroin, or maybe not if he got her help. Jim could have helped her too, not just himself. They would have been off all the drugs/alcohol and married, having children etc. would have been great to see him older and still singing and writing poetry/music.
What I really don't like of this video is the fact that the singer try to clearly emulate Morrison. He is not him. Even if he seems Morrison, it'd be more interesting and less ridiculous to make the song in his own way, putting in something of himself. Maybe I'm to severe about that. What do you think?
I think he"s just bringing the spirit of Jim Morrison to the stage in him with his performance and I'm almost certain his tripping balls so he"s just having a good time.
