Thanks for watching! 👍 Tell us what we missed - What’s an important thing to consider before starting your next aquascape?
I would add this: Consider whether you have appropriate space for the size of aquarium you have in mind. Think not just in terms of square footage but also in terms of orientation. Will the tank be in direct sunlight? Will you have convenient access to a source of water and electricity? And can you position the tank far enough away from the wall that you can get behind it for cleaning and maintenance?
Great points, especially for easier maintenance!
My tip would be not to skimp on the light. I struggled away with cheaper lights, but once I invested in a decent light, things changed dramatically.
Agreed, a powerful LED makes a huge difference.
I agree! Having patience is key to good aquascaping. You can’t rush it!
Amazing video, great information🎃

Hi can you recommend a driftwood that wont turn deep dark black/brown when put in water?
I have bought spider wood online recently and the pieces I get are always way too dark for my build.
Thanks
Hey there! All natural wood will release tannins. If you keep up with regular water changes, they usually go away within a couple months or so. If you don't want tannins, try boiling the wood for a couple of hours prior to adding it to your tank. You can also check out Clear Mix: buceplant.com/products/dymax-clear-mix

Hi
I really don't like buying Live products online because your at the mercy of the employees selecting the plants.
Just yesterday I bought 4 Japanese maple trees and was very disappointed when I received them. Clearly they were leftovers.
Is it just me or does this channel just come across lifeless. Nice information but there's no personality or vibe to this guy. Been looking at various video trying my best to like them but the bland, lifeless delivery makes it hard for me. Good info otherwise like I said before.
Yeah, it's just you.
Glad he makes you hard though.🤣
