Many years ago I remember seeing some outdoors tv show where they teached this rod compass trick, but there they were like three or four guys holding the same stick together. I guess that makes sense: if one tries to turn the direction, others will hold back. For some reason, this was called "Swedish compass"😂 (it was a Finnish tv show of course😂)
That makes sense, I mean to be more than one person holding on to the same long stick to go as straight as possible. It also makes sense that they called it a “Swedish compass”! 😄But here in Sweden we would of course call it a “Norwegian compass”! 👍🏽
