Wyatt is spot on about the DOA shrimp..despite there being more realistic and arguably more effective artificial shrimp lures for other scenarios, NOTHING beats the DOA for being swept in a current. Same thing for the TerrorEyes.

Got my new Power Prawns. Haven’t had the opportunity to use it yet. Just seeing it made me so excited almost pee my pants. Every thing loves shrimp, how could anything resist this.

Can you rig the Power Prawn backwards to make it look more like a fleeing shrimp?

Monster 3x makes a very similar shrimp and jig combo to those power prawn baits, and they’re local, Miami, Florida based. And they’re money. Still want to try those power prawns though. Look nice. Great video boys, always learn so much from you guys.

I would really be interested in joining your insider club, as I am a big fan of Zman elastec soft plastic lures. However, I use several colors other than slam shady. Will other colors be available in the future?

Sadly, my problem has been consistency...I've been trying my hand more with artificials (thanks for the Slam Shady paddletails by the way)... and what happened was, on one trip I did great on specks and sandies under a popping cork...and ur right it does a lot for ur confidence, but then on the next trip I just kept getting the tails bitten off and never landed fish...guess I need to work more on presentation...I really want live bait to be an option and not a crutch or a go-to, but the artificials are gonna take more practice than I thought....thanks fellas, always informative

drksyde try suspending twitch baits like Mirrodines. Easy to use and help build confidence in throwing artificial

Did you go to the link? You can pay yearly or monthly. if you fish more than 3-5 times a month it is worth it, lots of good info and other anglers all sharing. For me at least.

There is nothing that beats a Cottie Jig. Unfortunately, they went out of business, and it's hard to find them anymore. Y'all need to learn how to work a DOA better than you do. I only use the big ones in the surf or offshore. The little ones are the original. They are infused with a natural shrimp scent. They look funky but act realistic-literally a shrimp marionette. Add the rattle! You can work them much slower and stay in the strike zone longer. One of the best things to do is gently lift your rod tip to raise the lure and let it drop back down. Give it a quick little tap or two to add some sound. I do so well with them that I rarely use jigs, except in open water. Around any structure, they can't be beat!
