Hello David, Thank you for another nice content about F1 slotcars, as well as the extra footage and books you`ve shown. The Lotus F1`s remember me of my teenage days in the 70`s when I watched a lot of F1 races. I had been a fan of Ronnie Peterson and I had the Corgi Toys replica back then. When I got older, I gave it away to my cousin to play with. Sadly, there were no F1 models of the Lotus by Carrera at that time, if I remember correctly. I had a 132 Carrera Universal set then. Scalextric was not known in Germany at that time here. Very nice models by Fly, as they always do, but technically seen, Fly is not my choice to go for in slotcars. As shelfqueens they are maybe fine, but they are to fragile if you crash them in my opinion. Are you situated in Canada, cause I think I heard a Canadian accent there? :-) I got a lot of Family in Ontario. Any way, I finally left a subcription and a like. Greets over from Germany 🙂

Thank you for the interest in Germany. I was at the Nurburgring last summer and had a great time!
I am in Niagara Falls Ontario Canada. Should you ever visit your relatives here please get in touch.

@@davidcarson5407 Right on, eh! I have been to the falls in 1997. Awesome experience, because you hear the falling water fro the distance already. I stayed at the youth hostel then, which was not comfortable and smelled like our hockey cabine, but a cheap sleepover then. I loved the illumination in the evenning which the Falls are presented during the spring until late summer. Sadly I didn`t go there in the winter, when the Falls were covered under ice. Thank you for the invitation. I will come back to that whenever I am over there 🙂 Have a nice weekend and greets over to my 2nd home. 🙂
