I love how every joke they make about the sound/art design is literally what they did to make this game.
This makes me appreciate the other two cdi zelda games so much more, those games are incredible in comparison to this game.
I can’t believe what a truly horrible, horrible game this is. Not bad, like Wand of Gamelon and Faces of Evil, which were comically bad. It’s just genuinely unpleasant to experience. If I’d been involved in developing this game, I’d pray that nobody found out.

Supposedly this game is so terrible that the guy who was behind the other 2 Zelda CDi games said even he couldn't get through this game. Not because it was hard, but that it was THAT terrible.

3:00 It's kind of what happened actually, it was the employees that were used to make the characters and some of the monsters in the game and I'm quite certain the same went on for the voice acting too, that game is such a disaster...

Man, I hope someday this game actually does become canon to the main Zelda timeline somehow, and just like how Toho bought the rights to Zilla just to kill him off, I hope it's canonized as "that one really shitty and horrible part of Hyrule's history that's widely refuted and might not have actually happened". Or maybe there's a part where you have to travel between dimensions and end up in a place with disturbingly realistic graphics that's really violent and nonsensical for no reason, and the hero of that reality is already dead on the floor when you arrive.
Still hoping they beat this some day.
I love that this entire play through was footage of the grumps getting so annoyed by the game that they started arguing like an old couple EVEN MORE than they already do 😂
