- Today we are going to be making an art doll, specifically of my one of my favourite creatures the Gloomble.
These creatures have a rich back story just like my Worry Warts and are creatures that defend the depressed and guard the grieving. I created them when I was going through a hard time to help me work through the difficulties I was facing and I wanted to share that story with the world.
This doll was sculpted with polymer clay and made with fun fur, and is one of my favourite art dolls to date, it's spooky, mushroomy, cottage core wonder and I could be happier with how our little forest goblin turned out.

The doll you made is really cool! Maybe you could one with a strawberry aesthetics? Like it has been residing is an abandoned strawberry farm. 🍓

Love this idea! Also the pumpkin farm comment on this comment as well. Those both sound adorable. Or a little apple orchard one with apples stuck on his horns in different red shades with maybe some browns and a little bee friend hiding in his fur.

"Where Did I Drop the Needle?" Is the reason I invested in one of those telescoping magnet tools meant for picking up dropped tools 🤪
That turned out so amazing! If it were me working at a craft store I would love to see what everyone makes even if it isn't something I particularly enjoy! I love seeing all the perspectives and ideas melded together!

Love her design!! Maybe for one of the other faces you could do a night owl theme, for someone who stays up at night stressing about the next day.
I have been going through a lot of trauma over the past years of my life and at 40 I never thought that things would get as bad as they are but I want you to know that you bring a little sunshine and a little optimism into my day every single time I watch you. As a fellow artist and sculptor you inspire me to do the things that I want to do that make me happy that make me feel better and that I think would make others feel better. I think a big thing with any sort of mental disability or not disability but illnesses or trauma is that you never want anyone to feel the way that you have felt and I think that that is the message behind all of your art is that you want to help people to have someone to talk to you to have something to hold onto and to know that somebody else Has possibly gone through what you’ve gone through and through each one that you make and sell all of those people are connected in their shared experiences and it’s almost like not only is the creator possibly there to somehow support me through their art but also there’s this entire group of people who own their art and or possibly talking to theirs at the same time that I am. I don’t think you know how much of a difference people like you make in the world and I really hope that you continue to make it brighter place. Thank you

As a sorta mushroom enthusiast I love the fantasy mushroom vibe we went foraging for mushrooms last week we got some milk caps thay were great and I loooovvvvee this style also do you know we’re you got the Lilly of the valley beads I need some in my life :D

I'm still learning clay stuff but I actually did the paint and water moss effect recently so it's cool to see someone more experienced using it too cos I was just making it up as I went along!

I have one of those enthusiastic Michael’s folks too, one in Joann’s and another in a thrift shop I frequent. I’m now thinking of making a special point of wearing one of the things I was telling each of them I was making next time I go in to one of those places.

I resently got some of the clay that’s similar to what you use and watching this video just made me want to make a creature of my own. I love your creativity and i got one of your worry whoopsys and i carry it everywhere and tell it basically everything that i found was not good abt the day/ my anxiety and it helps me every time.

You should make a video all about the Gloombles like what you did in the beginning some storys and more information about theses fun creatures:)
If you're going to use pencil on clay, you'd want to use watercolour pencils. You will also need Mr Super Clear. Apply about 3 layers (letting it dry in between layers) so there's some grip for the pencil to cling to. Just like with paint, you'd probably want to use white first so the colour stands out. In between each colour layer, spray a thin coat of Mr. Super Clear. It's the equivalent of putting polymer clay in the oven to save your work. Hope this helps!
