- The first LP I got as a very young boy was one with Andres Segovia. And my favourite piece from that record was this Allegro by Giuliani,played in a marvellous way by the maestro.
That inspired me a lot and the piece has followed me through my life since then.
Allegro spiritoso is a perfect title of a piece so full of spirit,and for me it’s a bit like if Mozart would have written a really good piece for the guitar.Which unfortunately he never did….

Beautiful playing. I had bought Mauro Giuliani pieces for Guitar. I find his pieces nice to play and a wonderful sound for Guitar. You have a double. A person I know looks just like you. I sent him your photo and he mentioned the remarkable similarity.
Fantastiskt bra spelat. Jag gillade att spela Giuliani när jag tog gitarrlektioner i musikskolan för bra länge sen. Jag uppfattade hans musik som mycket mer melodiös än andra samtida , som exempelvis Ferdinando Sor. På nåt sätt passade Guiliani nybörjare, en bra inkörsport till klassisk gitarr. Uppenbart efter att ha hört detta passar musiken mästarnas mästare också. Tack.

A question: you mentioned in your last interview that you always had 1-3 takes recording albums. Have you ever listened back and thought I wish I had played that section differently or I don't how that note sounded there or things along these lines?
I always prepared my recordings well and I decided to accept that I did my best at that moment in the studio and then go on with new projects
without looking back.It doesn’t help.But of course there are things I would do differently now but that doesn’t disturb me very often.

He was manipulating the colors at his will.

Well it's not Mozart but it's tje best classical period sonata for guitar imo - particularly tje slow movt - why don't more guitarists play that?
I guess it’s because of that tricky part in it where Giuliani probably used his left hand thumb on the 6:th string

Nice playing! Giuliani's work are mostly beautiful & pleasant unlike so called composers like Tedesco, Regondi and Sor. God knows why they're still remembered today, they even had nothing to offer back then... They had no talent or understanding of music...
Many musical mistakes, unfortunately, and the guitar is not "accordata" and this is really bad
