I have a few things to say about Birmingham City this season. To get relegated with 50 points in the Championship is quite unlucky (normally, it is enough to survive in most seasons), they had seven more points than Bolton Wanderers (43 points in the 2017/18 season) but Bolton somehow survived. The owners have to take the blame for sure, but I think the two draws away at Rotherham and Huddersfield before the final day ended up relegating them. Their away record in the Championship 2023/24 was terrible (14 points in 23 away games). At home. they were the 9th-best home team with 36 points. Even after they sacked Wayne Rooney, I feel like they had enough games to at least save themselves from finishing in the drop zone. Do you agree with what I said about Birmingham, Max (MWS)? Also, I find it crazy that Leicester City only drew 4 out of 46 games of the Championship 2023/24. Since the 2nd tier of English football was changed to a 24-team league, starting from the 1988/89 season, the least amount of draws recorded by a single team in the division is 4 (Two teams recorded that: Leicester City said above, and Reading in the 2002/03 season). Imagine if Leicester City had converted some of those 11 losses into 10 points, they would have broken the points record.
@@YTMWS Rooney was 100% a problem, but to say it’s his fault is very far… just took an opportunity given to him, can’t blame him really. The man that got him in charge (Gary Cook) is the one to blame.
Honestly, can't argue with any of that. I also thought Rowett could've gotten a win at Rotherham, or Huddersfield (having been one up at half time). Biggest problem of the season though was Rooney and we were unlucky to lose Tony Mowbray (what a gent). After all this though I think I am happier that we went down and have been able to rebuild our squad under different FFP rules. We'll be better for it in 3 years time, than we would be having stayed up.
Great rebuild! Hope Birmingham can get promoted back up to the Championship.. Waking up and watching your videos is brilliant, great way to start the morning lol..
Max, I really want to see you use Thiago Silva as a manager and building his career as a manager from League Two in English League or a lower league from Top 5 leagues and brought them all the way from stuck in lowest division of their respective leagues to being UCL Winner as a manager (since he already won the UCL as Chelsea's player)
Two players you should consider for rebuild vids are Damian Pizarro and Alexander Aravena. Two cheap wonderkids I haven't seen in manager mode too often

Rebuild my team Oxford United. Just got promoted to championship via play offs beating Bolton 2-0 at Wembley as the underdogs. I wanna see how they get on in the championship and even further maybe get to the prem and win the league and champions league.
Day 9 of asking for a prussen munster rebuild after they made a B2B promotion from 3 liga to bundesliga 2 try and make them survive and win the league from there

Easy broken the record! And I agree, I don’t think Rooney was the problem… more the timing!

That’s not a half bad idea!

A decent goal for the winner in the final
