I want to know why my size change, at my workplace the piece keeps getting small and I have to open the regulating wheel every 8-10 piece!! The stupid operator/trainee says it’s ok but I think it’s pathetic that the machine can’t run consistently.
Please contact me regarding the pric and delivery to Dallas Texas.
HELP. I use this machine at my work. How do you take apart the regulating wheel?
If you need parts for the Jones & Shipman let me know
Need machine for engine valves any dealer in india you have

Price of the machine
I am new to Centerless Grinding. I have a question, how much extra material on OD I need for CG, 1" long pins, 1/8 diameter, and tolerance is ± 0.0002". thank you
I used these while working for an US company here in Italy that had these. Originally, at 6:10, we used to change the speed of the right wheel using the two levers that you see at the bottom, right below the section with the red sticker and just above the brick. I can't recall now the position to make the right wheel go full speed but i think it was both levers to the right, not put right away but you had to switch few positions to be able to move one to the end and then the last one. This is based on my experience of course and also the way we used to work with them but....whatever the future use of this one will be, ALWAYS remember to prepare the machine correctly by starting the cycle so that the right wheel moves forward,, wait for it to stop moving, then place the master sample of the product you want to grind right between the grindstone and then move the wheel toward it so that its briefly touched by the stone & the wheel but you can still drag the master sample out. IF you don't do that step BEFORE starting to work with the machine, the machine will not know where to correctly stop and you might end up crashing the wheel against the stone and startup fire or even make it explode or having piece of it flying here and there. And replacing one requires a chain hoist and patience. We used to 'clean up' the grindstone by using slow-mid speed, cause full speed would leave some marks on the grindstone and that would end up reflected on steel bars body structure for example. Safety is nr.1 priority in any case.

Hi, I have a question on our thru feed Cincinnati, we're having a issue with low spots on our tolerance on our parts .0002 lower even after dressing both wheels. Do you have any idea or suggestions what could be causing this? Thanks!
I run this kind of machine for 30 years Things to check is that your blade is tight and dressed and the blade holder is all clean and level if that is not it put a bar under reg wheel and a dial indicator on top and check how much moves it should not move more than .002 - .005 if it is running way more than that you might need new bearings or I think you might be able to adjust them ones if you have a book look into that And if you are grinding steel I dont know much about that I ground carbide
It may be the part itself having low spots that’s a tight tolerance for through feed if not and it’s either ends you need to change the feed wheel taper if that doesn’t work dress the grinding wheel, to change taper there should be two bolts under the captain wheel opposite each other with thread those are the ones that change taper on feed wheel
I want to know why my size change, at my workplace the piece keeps getting small and I have to open the regulating wheel every 8-10 piece!! The stupid operator/trainee says it’s ok but I think it’s pathetic that the machine can’t run consistently.
