Have you driven on Highway 138 in Crestline? Have you visited Lake Gregory? The drive is beautiful with winding roads. Lake Gregory is a great place to spend time with family and make great memories. Tell us about your visit to Crestline in the comment below.
_The greater community of Crestline includes the neighborhoods known as Valley of Enchantment, Valley of the Moon, Cedarpines Park, and Twin Peaks._ Twin Peaks is actually considered to be a Lake Arrowhead community. It only became associated with Crestline when it was determined that a small portion of the Twin Peaks community would have to be included in Crestline's futile attempt to incorporate as the City of Lake Gregory. From Incorporate Lake Gregory: _Included Communities:_ _Crestline, Crest Forest, Valley of Enchantment, Cedarpines Park, Dart Canyon, Valley of the Moon, San Moritz, & a portion of Twin Peaks_
My family used to camp at Blue Jay campground just below the lake all the time when I was a kid. We'd wake up early and fish and hike around. One year we got hit by a snowstorm and the camp owners invited us to sleep in there private house and made us kids hot chocolate. The campground owners were the sweetest people. I know the campground was shut down (probably due to the damn needing work). Not sure what happened to them but they sure we're the nicest people
The long and winding road 138 to LG beautiful and dangerous ,..it takes you to one of the most lovely majestic places on Earth ,..Pine trees everywhere , my dad loved it; Gary B Hagins; Rip ,..1931 to 2010
I'm glad you had another reason to remember your Dad and something that he loved. Unless you go up there, it's hard to imagine how beautiful it is. Thanks for taking the time to watch.
Plan on going with the family soon . I’m afraid of the drive cause all the curves I get easily car sick 🤒. But it will be worth it for the family to enjoy 😊. Also upset 😢 we can barbecue
Looks a little busy for my taste. Coming from LA, I want less traffic and people. But; maybe I will still explore the area. Thanks. The McDonalds and 7-eleven? Oy.
Weekends are busier due to visitors/tourists. Only the "main drags" are busy at that time. Those areas are all pretty slow during the week. McDonald's and 7-eleven, but a few hundred yards away roads that go to very quiet spots.

My grandfather, Andrew J. Lukcik, built many of the A-frame houses in Crestine. He was a talented man.
