Now they know they didn't have to make a b side slap this hard!!! 🦁 Edit: Please like the video to counteract the group of people I have going around and disliking ALL of my BTS content as if my enjoying them is somehow inherently worth disliking
There are three lives that I know of: in front of an ethereal tree, sitting on stage in tuxes, and another on stage under red lights. They sing their asses off in each one of them. Highly recommended binge. (Edit: you know all this very well, so I was just writing to hear myself type here. ;-) Also, non-native language alert! They pull off some of the most emotional ballads in Japanese. Crystal Snow is another fave. Jin and Jimin are especially suited to the style.)
This is a live version. Jungkook co-wrote this & it is the theme song of a Japanese film, “Your Eyes Tell” about a boxer and a blind girl. You need to watch them sing it live. It’s an experience. The vocal line is extraordinary. BTS Japanese songs are on another level.
@AmariLeone Please react to their live version. They sound better, in my opinion. Love this song. As you already learned, Jungkook was tapped to help write the OST for the Japanese film, "Your Eyes Tell", I watched the Korean movie it was based on, and I liked it. I'm a sucker for romantic movies. Anyway, great reaction. Also, if you didn't hear, the last of the boys entered the military on the 12th. Hoping for their safe return 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
BTS always in every damn song they prove that they are the best, no one literally no one can do better than them, and no one can sing at the level they do, everything we hear from them is just flawless and perfect
IMO, this is one of BTS underrated songs. You need to react to Let Me Know, but the live version. Jimin made me fall out of my chair with his high note.
JungKook wrote, composed Your Eyes Tell, and in Japanese mind you! This is BTS’ first OST & movie director was only looking for ending credits song, but after hearing JK’s lyrics & melody director made it the main movie soundtrack. All songs that JK wrote, composed, produced, or sang solo, had all become among BTS’ top selling & top charted hits!! Like YET, Film Out (another Japanese OST), Magic Shop, Run BTS, My Time, Euphoria, Stay, Still With You, and many others. JungKook as Main Vocalist of BTS also creates all BTS’ vocal guides (incl some members’ solos) ad libs, & harmonies. JungKook is really super amazing!
i agree with everything you said except for "this is bts first ost" im not sure how many were before this but i know 'don't leave me' is also a japanese ost from 2018 so that may be the first one before this one or their might be more. i just know 100% your eyes tell isnt the first. but other than that your comment is on point!! :)
@@tastefullyrics4895exactly. I was surprised by that "first idt" thing. Hell we even have "gotta be you" by tae & jin... And yes. "don't leave me" is queen!
I love how you always see the little details in BTS songs and always appreciate every small thing that not everybody notices, that's why you are my favorite BTS’ reactor, so much respect
That's just how my brain works. I'm glad you vibe with it, some people don't "why do you talk so much!?" "Because BTS does a lot of stuff worth talking about! That's why" lol 🤣
This song was supposed to be on Jungkook mixtape, but it was too good and it became a group song and an OST as well for the movie mentioned by other people in comments. Jungkook is a great composer and lyricist, when he chooses to write and produce. Everything he creates becomes a priceless gem and very unique, with a special flavor.
@@AmariLeone Yeah, like Tae's Blue and Gray. And then there are the oddballs like Seesaw that Yoongi wrote to give to others then said - heck, I want to do it myself! I really believe all their work finds its proper home, if that makes sense. It must be a side effect of working in their kind of "song camp" style.
OMG THATS MY FAVE JAPANESE TRACK, FINALLLYYYYYYY😍 Sorry for shouting lol, got excited! The yearning, the longing, chef's kiss! And when you know the movie plot for which this song is an OST, it gets so much better and hits you right in the feeeeeels (it's a love story, boy with a dark past falls in love with a blind girl, hence all the vision/eye references) 🥺 also personally I just really love the soundscape of this song, it sounds like snow under sunlight looks you know, all twinkling and fragile
"it sounds like snow under sunlight looks you know, all twinkling and fragile" THAT"S A BAR!!! You need to start writing songs or books asap! This talent doesn't just grow on trees!
The songs jungkook made are vocally, melody, lyrics are just romantic, beautiful. He wrote/composed. Your eyes tells. Film out Magic shop Still with u Are just toi good song. They were supposed to be in jungkook mixtape but it was loved by members and become OT7 songs.
Thanks for reaction. One important thing if you are going to listen to live version of this song. I advise to find in good quality the video where they are all standing and there is a tree behind them. This performance is done on CDTV. I found one under this name "Your eyes tell - BTS LIVE PERFORMANCE (Japan TV)". Just want you to be able to listen to that song in good qualify.
This song is another level of amazing. I can't believe this is your first time hearing it. This is one of my go to, when I need to release some emotions. Along with Blue and Grey. Surprise this was written by JK.💜
Just so you know the adlibs and harmony with Jin’s lines at the end were Jimin. Granted JK is uaually the guy but Jimin does his fair share too. Love your reactions.
I came here for BTS and one of their most iconic Japanese songs, but that game music comment! There are games out there with full opera songs. Also, Genshin Impact’s music is recorded with full live orchestras.
I don't know what it is about their Japan songs, but they are truly top tier! They are always so vocal heavy and melodic and I'm there for it. I love seeing you get so excited by music and thank you for sharing your musical knowledge with us.
I completely agree with you about ballads. Not a big fan. It is fascinating to me that RM is such a big fan of ballads and will interpret them in his raps. He loves Adele and references her frequently in his songs, along with a number of Korean balladeers you've never heard of. Ballads are Big in Korea, maybe that's why the BTS crew is so good at them.
I've heard of a lot of examples of artists being big fans of what seems to be polar opposites to their own music & I think it's just that as musically inclined people we love the artform & respect talent whenever we see it, whatever form it comes in.
I love this song!!! One of the things I appreciate most about BTS music (and that makes it a cut above) is that they don't over repeat things. They repeat just enough to feel familiar, but they also change things up so that the same line is not delivered the same way. So much better than a lot of formulaic Western pop music. 💜
Yeah a lot of modern music is made to maximize catchiness which means cramming as many repetitive elements into the song as possible. Not as the best listening experience for some but the numbers speak for themselves ya know? BTS does a good job of making catchy things that aren't inherently repititve
Now they know they didn't have to make a b side slap this hard!!! 🦁
Edit: Please like the video to counteract the group of people I have going around and disliking ALL of my BTS content as if my enjoying them is somehow inherently worth disliking
Please watch the live! it's AMAZING!
Right?! I love how no song of theirs I have heard so far sounds like it was an unimportant “filler” track.

True
Ugh. What a sad, sad life those music Grinches must lead to be that petty.

Quite a few songs have that story (started as solo then ended up OT7) which is so interesting

Yayyy I’m glad this can go on the “ballady song that slaps” list along with The Truth Untold and House Of Cards
Just casually mentions 2 of my favorite BTS songs & now you're making me wonder if I'm actually an undercover ballad stan!!!
They can harmonies beautiful with each other, even the rappers. They are super talented❤
Thank you for acknowledging JK's adlibs 💜 really beautiful
Of course!! They're fire!

This..song!!!! Ahhhh this song always makes me cry
Another one of my favourite writes from JK. I've always enjoyed his writes because each member comes in to their own in whatever verse they sing....
This is my favorite vocal line song.
One of my favorite Japanese song by them,it’s so beautiful and painful,I LOVE IT!!
Yes indeed! Packed with intense emotion

BTS makes many songs good. Perhaps because there are 7 good artists to contribute to our listening ears 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Yes they do have a ton of good songs
I’ve been waiting for this!!!
