... And this is Part II to Watch the World Burn. The "Evil God" calmed down. He feels alone after destroying everything and rebuilds the world at the end. Using Last Resort to portray this is pure genius.
Perspective is so weird! In a good way! My Perspective: this is the EXACT same song! Maybe different generations connect more depending on the "delivery " (Papa Roach vs Falling In Reverse). Although to be fair, even though I may be from the Papa Roach generation, this version definitely hits that "oof" spot. 🤣 I can definitely feel the pain and anger in the original version too though. Even through the "Whatever" facade Gen Z wore. We're healing though 😁
There is a reference to System of a Down when they sing “self righteous suicide, I cryyy, when angels deserve to die” and it’s at the last “cut my life” part. The chords match up perfectly and the angels are crying.
Ronnie's take on this song has completely changed how I look at this song. I never even realized some of the lyrics and how heavy/emotional it actually is. The Papa Roach version is amazing but its soo up tembo that you don't get the same feelings from the song. Love this version!
Dude I cried when I listened to an hour ago and I haven’t in years and I’ve never cried since the sound of silence disturbed cover. Dude it’s still on repeat and I’m still bawling it’s so beautiful dude he needs an Oscar
This song marked my adolescence and my musical taste completely. When Papa Roach released this record I was having a hard time at home. Thank you Ronnie for so much art and for once again touching a chord within me. And thank you Ohrion for replicating each song with such sensitivity. Hugs
Tha j you so much for watching and I'm so happy you made it through some hard times 🙏 just makes us stronger and hopefully makes our world better. Much love!

The scene in the video where you see through the window and outside the world is crashing down resonates so much for me. It's exactly what depression feels like for me. I'm stuck in box inside and can only see the world crashing through a small window. Great video great song. If you know. You know.
In my opinion, it's not just a cover. I feel heart and soul in the song. It's still about an important issue, and Ronnie got the message across in his own way.❤ PS. You do a lot on Twitch, don't you? I often miss your streams unfortunately thanks to time difference and work. I find it really cool and you have given me many new artists to listen to
Papa Roach gave the teenage angst I needed; Ronnie just gave me all the powerful and raw emotion I need as an adult 🖤 Love that I have both these versions (one when I’m mad; one when I’m down). 🙏🏻
Do we realize that the world was healing at the end of this video when in his "watch the world burn" it was exploding? His messages in his videos are so unbelievably deep. Fck he's amazing.
Just popped up on my release rader , and an hour later im still crying and feel ever emotion from this cover, not since disturbed covering sound of silence have i felt this way , amazing cover and stands on its own because of jt
I think Jacoby was spot on with these lyrics and showing what people, who are struggling with their mental health, are going through. But Ronny just conveyed the emotion, restlessness and the torment that they FEEL. Dude, spot on, amazing job. People can hate on Ronny all they want but you can’t deny this mans EPIC talent and a way of getting a point across. Haters gonna hate. 🤷🏻♂️
This might be deep I went through suicide episodes at the end of 2021 due to server depression. When I heard this song I broke down in tears A. Because this is a master piece and B because the thoughts if this was made at the end of 2021 I might of succeeded cause the emotions to the screaming Ronnie puts in this is literally what went through my head at that point. Amazing remake
Oh this man knew what the hell he was doing releasing something like this the day before his big comeback tour starts while playing tribute to a huge song from our youth, a video exactly like our emo era, suspense like MCR WTBP, all with his unique Ronnie flair!! That man is a genius. It really brought me back to my teen years and the raw pain he displayed the entire song and video. He really is a remarkable musician.
"I feel like I'm not breathing rn" wasn't even thinking about it at the time, but my mouth was half-agape the whole song, and thinking back, this quote feels correct for me too. I was, but it felt like I wasn't.
I can't say which version I like better. Both versions speak to me in a very special way, as do the artists who sang them. The original sounds much angrier and more aggressive to me, it makes me think of certain negative things from my youth. The remake seems more adult, resigned, desperate, really well portrayed in the video. My respect and esteem for both artists who have dedicated themselves in their own ways to a very sensitive subject.
Watching your video is my 3rd time listening to it and it's still as impactful as the first time. I'm still getting goosebumps from it. This is an absolutely breathtaking masterpiece.
Love how fast this came up..... I lost my mind when I seen they dropped another song! I have been wanting something from him recently and he delivered!
Goosebumps...... just.... goosebumps...... And quite a few tears.... 😭 The original song, came out at a godsend moment for me. I was dealing with a relapse (for lack of a better term to use) of a medical issue in my late teens that had my lungs randomly collapsing. Was in a really dark place due to the constant collapses + scars from surgeries..... the Original is what kept me from staying down and clawed my way back out of that pit. THIS is how i felt when i heard the original.. THIS is what i was hearing when i heard that original song... its what gave me the courage to not back down and give up. Yes i was 'head-banging' to the origional (i even do the same to this version, just at a more sedated pace), but the feelings THIS song give.. are what i was dealing with at that moment... 3:27 = that moment when i was at my lowest during those days...... 3:30 + is what this song, in its original form, did for me.
He does such a beautiful and amazing job. He recreated this is the most incredible way. It sounds like he put an Evanescence feel on it, and I was in love with it
Did anyone notice the ending clip of the fire receding off the world is the reverse of the ending to watch the world burn?? So its like two sides of the coin, one where he destroys everything because of his emotion, and this one he recognizes the emotions and heals the world
I just love how different the tone of this cover is. The original always came across as frustrated and angry to me, while this cover feels more hopeless and defeated. The mood is so different. Both versions are great though 💕
Literally your reaction is exactly the same as mine was and I cannot stop the chills every time I listen to this song. Just stunned silence and awe. This is a masterpiece.
🙏🙏 merci pour ce son Ronnie 🤤.quel pianiste magnifique, Toujours autant d'émotion dans ca voie. Tout les musiciens et chanteurs apprécierons ce morceau🙏
Roney has such a great way of putting his pain into his music and setting it free. It is so fucking beautiful! I feel more healed from my life time of pain just listening to him. I am a woman and I am working on learning to sing this song as a way of work out my trauma. This is fucking awesome!
I love the original, but absolutely love this reimagined version. Ronnie can go ahead and reimagine every song for me. His voice gives me instant chills.
WOW! Stunning rendition... i don't that think i've ever been so captivated by a song / video... soooo well done! Ronnie is one of the best artists out right now. Period.
This is a continuation of watch the world burn, after he destroys the world with fire Everything is burned so quickly. It's instantly Ash, which is what everything is The first half of this video, everything's gray because it's ash. Then he reverses the entire destruction he caused in watch the world burn.
This is an AMAZING release! I also love how the CGI in this music video is way better than recent big budget film releases, including _everything_ Disney put out in the past couple of years. I also think the last shot of this video ties in with the ending of "Set the World on Fire." It looked like the fire from the end of that video reversed itself in this one!
I love this cover, I never knew what the song was about, it was played so much back in the day that I got tired of hearing it and because of that I'd never listen to it all the way through I'd hear the "cut my life into Pizza" line and immediately turn it off or skip it because I was just so sick of hearing it, but now that FIR did this amazing cover I finally understand why it was so loved, and were I to have given it a chance I probably would've loved it too, because lyrics like this are why I connected to and loved Linkin Park so much and why they were my favorite band and still kind of are they're tied for #1 so what I got from this is I should give Papa Roach a chance instead of discounting them because of one song that was constantly on the Radio

Bruh…. This is bad. Guess you weren’t there for the og. Can’t blame your age but get off RR dick. He isn’t that good.

Dude!! Have you seen the Watch the World Burn “remix” live with Alex Terrible??!!! Holy shit!!
It's like Papa Roach sang to the teens we were, and Ronnie is singing to the adults we've become. 🥺
Well said!
Yes, well said. This was awesome
Couldn’t have said it better myself ❤
Wow yes exactly
This was my exact thoughts. Just couldn’t put the words together.
Ronnie just turned this into an almost COMPLETELY different song. It’s stunning.
It pretty much is a different song! And it's amazing!
Papa Roach sang this to our teenage years and Ronnie spoke to our adulthood
Perspective is so weird! In a good way! My Perspective: this is the EXACT same song! Maybe different generations connect more depending on the "delivery " (Papa Roach vs Falling In Reverse). Ronnie is the goat thats why., probably the best in the business right now

Ronnie screaming abilities are seriously underrated. There aren't many (or any) who have that much emotions in their screams.

100%. Imminence incorporates orchestra and it is a perfect mix. Anytime strings (violin, cello)are in metal is perfect.
When you said it was THAT 'Last Resort' my first thought was "that's bold and daring!" fully expecting a disaster but holy crap they nailed it.
He captured the essence of the lyrics perfectly in this form! Absolutely love it
I grew up to the original and Falling in Reverse totally took that flipped it and used against us, I’m not crying, your crying. It truly was magical!
We all know how talented Ronnie is but can we talk about his voice!! It's not just good, its literally intoxicating.
The scene in the video where you see through the window and outside the world is crashing down resonates so much for me. It's exactly what depression feels like for me. I'm stuck in box inside and can only see the world crashing through a small window. Great video great song. If you know. You know.

Very seldom does a whole song give me full on chillbumps and Ronnie just blew my mind. Powerful AF

MY MIND IS FUCKING BLOWN. Ronnie is not human.
As much as I love my other bands, this is exactly why Ronnie is the GOAT. He keeps going bigger and better.
Cómo es que la piel se me pone chinita con esta versión es una obra de arte lo que Ronnie hace
The lyrics are so deep in the original...
...but this instrumental version just CUTS DEEPER 🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼
P.S. Lots of goosebumps
This is the absolute most beautiful cover of this song I have ever heard. The emotions truly hit the soul.
This song completely wrecked me. My best friend since I've been 12 years old killed herself last year and I'm so confused and lost without her
Slaps...slaps hard

Cried at work watching their video. The lyrics fit this style so well and Ronnie is simply unmatched in his range and talent.

Epic intimate orchestral, emotional version, wow!!!
The original was great for my angsty teenage phase. This one hits different because I’m an adult and have experienced the real world now. Incredible.
Makes me cry every time. He is incredibly talented.
watched this, mouth was open the whole time, kinda blown away, a song from my younger years, that now as an older dude, hit different. well done
Hands down my favorite cover I’ve heard of any song
ITS OK TO NOT BE OK. I’M NOT CRYING YOU’RE CRYING.
I had chills the whole time on my first listen. Ronnie knocked it out of the fucking park with this one
Maybe the best cover ever besides Disturbed’s Sound of Silence
Ronnie has one of the best abilities to convey emotion through his voice that he has clearly worked very hard to perfect into a style his very own.
When everything around you is falling apart, hold on to something that makes it all worthwhile and has a new life. That's the message!
Did anyone notice the ending clip of the fire receding off the world is the reverse of the ending to watch the world burn?? So its like two sides of the coin, one where he destroys everything because of his emotion, and this one he recognizes the emotions and heals the world

A perfect reimagining of this song.
The musicality is just next level.
What an amazing way of stripping back the music and revealing the lyrics in such a beautiful way 👍
You do know this is the sequel to the “watch the world burn” video. He’s putting back the world he destroyed in the first video
Goosebumps and I've watched it 25 times

Redoing a classic song is tricky for most artists. However, Ronnie was able to capture the emotions of the lyrics in a different way (sadness, emotional vs angry pissed off vibe of original).
He definitely did it justice, and one of the rare times where the cover or reimagined is just as good as the original.
