In this video, the speaker comparesMidjourney version five, which is a paid AI image generator, with Microsoft Bing's image creator, which is a free and unlimited option. The speaker uses prompts generated by ChatGPT an AI language model, to create images and compare the results.
The speaker explains that Microsoft Edge is a better browser for using the image creator, as it allows users to edit the images directly. The video demonstrates the use of both Midjourney V5 and Microsoft Bing's image creators to create an abstract painting inspired by the colors and patterns of a tropical sunset.
The speaker notes that Mid-Journey has a more impressionistic style, while Microsoft Bing's images are more in line with traditional abstract art.
The video is a helpful tutorial for those trying to decide between using the paid Mid-Journey or the free Microsoft Bing image creator.

I discovered the bing thing last sunday and I was amazed. There is a big flaw: if you give prompts in the chat, it creates the pictures, which you can access in the picture-section. Then you can adjust -again in the chat version- add more color / make more realistic, chance this or that, and it seems that this makes the pictures crooked, faces strange, deformed limbs... But it is amazing what can be created.
Hahaha the helmet in and outside of rafting 😂 Thanks for all the vids-I’ve been enjoying them! I’m mostly doing coloring pages-have you by chance had any luck getting consistent coloring pages without the grayscale? (In MidJourney; unless there’s a better one for this.) I can get pretty nice images, but about half of them have gradients throughout that I’ve been manually removing. Just looking for clean black and white to save me some time!
Good video. Thanks. I am just learning the technology and experimenting. Both are good tools. It all depends on what you need, plus you have to try things/experiment. I wish Bing offered higher res though. QUESTION: Can you upload a bing image to Midjourney, make tweaks and upscale?
Great video, loving all your video's so far! Is there a way to work with alternate versions of your renders? Like the V1,2 etc buttons on midjourney?
Bing image creator follows whatever your prompt is and the output is more photo realistic while midjourney sometimes creates a scene that is not in the prompt and the output is more on artistic rendering or filtered style
You make a great point! Thank you! :)
100% I'm so annoyed we can't use them Midjourney can be really annoying.
Think I will wear my helmet in and out of canoeing now too....comment cracked me up. BTW thanks for the great comparison.
Ha! Glad you liked that one :).
You said midjourney looks photorealistic, but what i don't like about it, is that it always looks like a painting, never a photo
V5.1 is a bit less photo realistic then 5.0 I found. Try switching up and let me know if you see a difference
Bing AI can't be used for commercial use though can it?
As of right now, you don't own the rights to the image (nobody does - I believe it is all creative commons).
That said, you can "sell" an image you created. I see lots of people doing that these days.
@@kingy-ai Thank you so much! So for example I would like to use an image in say - my newsletter for my business. I don't own the rights but nobody does? So it's ok?
@@tomjohnson3390 100% okay :). I do it all the time :)
Can Bing AI images be used for KDP?
They sure can :)
Can i use bing AI image for commercial purposes
You can sell them to a client, but you can't copyright them (currently). All AI made images are part of the public domain (as far as I know). This could change in the future though.
@@kingy-ai ok thank you 👍..I want to use it for youtube content
@@Kksambavam22 For your own channel? If so, then go for it :). I use my own Ai generations all the time :)
@@kingy-ai 👍👍
According to Microsoft, you can't use any created images/art for commercial use. Does anyone know about this?
BIC is more artistic, more creative, my favorite.
Can we sell images generated by bing image creator
you can, but you don't own the copyright. It's up to someone else if they wanna buy them, but it's still something worth trying :)
Can we sell images from bing image generator?
As of right now, you can sell them to a client yes. But you don't own the copyright (nor would they).
@@kingy-ai it have trademark on the left corner we can not remove it?
I did try it and I can say it passed one of my tests. I tell all of these AI image creators to make a picture of the left arm of a humanoid robot reaching away from the camera. MOST of the time I get garbage. (free) BlueWillow has yet to create even something that looks like this.
In my experience, this comparison is not valid, as they each respond to prompts in very different ways. You have to taylor the prompts specifically for each program. I have found Bing Image to blow Midjourney away for creativity and following very specific prompts.
Hmm, now this is interesting. I do agree that the quality of the prompts and how you tailor them matters immensely. That said, I haven't heard anyone say Bing is better (until now). I am going to test it a little more, as I can see how Bing can outperform in things like art styles, abstract styles, etc while Midjourney seems to have the edge in photorealism. Interesting point though, I appreciate it!
Is it just me or have the Bing Image Creator results declined in quality in the past week? Especially faces.
The faces and hands are the rough. If they fixed that it could take on midjourney. But ya. They got worse lol
@@kingy-ai Actually Bing does hands well. In fact, I wanted to do a joke meme with mangled hands on a keyboard with a caption "How you know you've been typing on Mid Journey too long". But Bing did reasonable hands. Same when I prompted for knitting.
Man where is this FREE Dall-e cuz mine wants me to pay before I can gernerate.🥵
Bing.com then click on images. Then image generator :)
@@kingy-ai cool thanks for that. 😊
You should learn how to properly record your screen before using advanced tools like that
I like your troll face logo / icon. Good choice.
@@kingy-ai okey. don't stretch your videos from their original aspect ratio and dont upscale the resolution neither. if the original capture is 720p it should stay like that. it's very annoying.
dont stretch your screen. unwatchable
