Tip for slide casting timings You can put an emote on your bar and when that emote lights up during your cast, that would be the timing to move for your ping

Hey Blac question regarding aggro. As a DPS character, should I avoid attacking enemies while a tank is running ahead through a dungeon trying to pull everything? Like will I steal the aggro if I do too much damage to the enemy while the tank is running through? Should I just let the tank pull everything and then do AoE attacks, or am I fine to chip away while the enemy chases? I guess I just don't understand how the aggro works in the game, since I haven't played a tank yet
Always let the tank go in front and agro/attack & group up enemies. Furthermore, the tank should only pull what the healer is comfortable healing, at least til you reach endgame. The main exception to this is when you need to kill adds/mobs during a boss fight, but even then you usually want to tank to agro them if they can. After the tank has the agro, you can start attacking, but don't go nuts til the tank has stopped moving and is attacking, as you can pull agro off the tank when they are still grouping stuff up. So long as the tank has tank stance on, and is landing attacks, it will always pull agro.

You just look at the emote icon while casting and when it lights up, that basically says you're free to move.
