    Nice piece, but you have to get the facts straight: Ralph Peer was NOT a record producer for RCA. RCA didn't produce records. They manufactured electronics. There was absolutely no division of RCA in 1927 that had anything to do with pressing records. Even the technology that created the Orthophonic Process, (the technology behind the Bristol Sessions,). was created by Bell Labs, Not RCA.
    Ralph Peer was a record producer for Victor records, a completely different company than RCA. 2 years after the first sessions in Bristol, RCA bought the Victor Record Company and became RCA Victor, (now owned by Sony). There are other inaccuracies, but it is more accurate than most accounts.
