When I watched Alekseev's videos as a beginner I knew the combos were extremely difficult but I couldn't fully appreciate his level until I gained more knowledge on freestyle. Alekseev's level is so high that his combos were difficult for me to understand without watching them several times
Damn bro. Looking back to this comment from 3 years later, you can already develop your own freestyle theory and have some great debates in terms of lower. How time flies and things have changed. Really reminds me to challenge myself in each training session and be consistent on training, cause time can really make a great difference.
Dany wasnt that far off of the hardcore stuff when it comes to pure difficulty, but you beat him clearly in variation, style, control and weak foot. Quite clear vote for you after reviewing everything. Dany did a sick job though! Crazy 3revs! Love this pact. Highlight of the year when it comes to videos.
I agree 100%, especially with style and control. A lot of the time I noticed Dany tried desperately to end the combo when he wasclearly out of stamina and had trouble holding on to the basics, even ending a combo with an amatw. Dany was still a fucking beast though
Is style really one of the official criteria in this competition? I think it should´t count, because style can be influenced only to some extent and some people will never have style as good as for example Palle. But maybe it still officially counts, I wouldn´t be surprised.
Well some people will never be as good at lowers as alekseev no matter how much they train because they have inferior genetics, should we start handicapping people who were born tall and give extra credit for people who are short?

We could discuss whether „control“ aspect of the combos should or shouldn´t be counted, but how I see it is that control shouldn´t matter at all if the combo was clean and the freestyler was able to control (keep juggling) the ball afterwards. On the other hand, the truth is that style is judged in many sports and their competitions that have far greater history that freestyle football.
