The Sarum rite is in latin and was used in the English Catholic Church up until its reformation. The Rite helped shaped the emerging Book of Common Prayer from the reforms set during Henry VIII.

yes, there are many catholic rites still retain in the anglo reform church rejected by the more stringent protestant, Pentecostal and other churches that do not accept reverence to Mary as the head of the elect of the church and my stance on this point and Anglican chanting to replace mantras by chinese pagan priest brought me into the angloc reform fold . so if agree. lets be friends and give me your sites to connect howere possible

and the retention of catholic rites of king henry saw the rise of puritanism for simple slomen based purely on the word. Just so doctrinally rigid and detestable they are all !
