Thank you Doctor. I was just diagnose with 3+3=6 on 2 out of 12 cores and I am still trying to get a grasp on how to deal with active surveillance and not immediately aggressively treating. It just seems so foreign when you have cancer and are in the early stage. I am 55 and enjoy sex but enjoy a longer life a bit more.
Good presentation. Understandable to laymen as well as medical personnel. I understand the Gleason grade 3+3=6 is considered an indolent, non-invasive form of prostate cancer. Some say it should not be called cancer at all because it doesn’t metastasize or kill one. Do you know how often such cancers become higher grade? Is there currently any way to know if such cancers will become higher grade?
@@FilipSokol it is for me 🤗 happening recently circumstances we've not had useful review class and enough practice we're gonna take practical pathology exam tomorrow though😕🤦♀️ in this short time your vedios are a good practice and helpful enough 🤗 thanks sooo much

Thanks! It would be nice if you could do close ups of the higher patterns with real life examples.
That is a good idea. I need to find some good slides.
What does it mean when colonic mucosa cells are also found?
Nothing really. Colonic cells are of no clinical significance. They are sometimes present, because the prostate is approached from the rectum.
Thank you Doctor. I always learn a lot!
Glad to hear that!

You are welcome.
Good try, but you are no Shotgun Histology.
These videos are in no way perfect. But I hope they still might be useful to someone.
