Gruppo Rubato Turns 10: Introducing "Snapshot"

SNAPSHOT is Gruppo Rubato's 10th original theatre production, coinciding with the company's 10th anniversary. We've come a long way in ten years: from local Fringe festival productions, to nationally-touring Fringe plays, to independently-produced original works.
"Snapshot" is a new play by Ottawa playwright Karen Balcome. It's been in development for two years and we're eager to share it with audiences in Ottawa and beyond.
Dalton, 75, and Charlie, 19, don't see eye to eye. Facing the loss of a loved one, they find themselves thrown together and forced to confront their lives in crisis. Journeying between the humourous but tense negotiations of these two worlds collided and the intimate, desperate dreamscapes of the characters' imaginations, Snapshot follows Dalton and Charlie's search for new meaning in their lives in a story about crossing divides and finding a connection where you least expect it.
