Guruji , you told rightly about rights issues, for the past 25 years, I never missed to apply any rights issues in my invest life. Recent Example of my rights issues like SUZLON in 2022 @5 got 500 shares, Present rate is 40, intellect design arena @86 in 2020, present Rs.840, I got 2500 shares.

How to apply for rights issue if someone not a share holder
@@muralee5874 , you can't apply rights directly if you not a share holder, if some share holder not applying the rights, rights application form can be down loaded by them , you can renounce the same from them on your name and you can apply after renouncing, you can apply additional shares also , than your eligibility, only thing whole process to be completed with in that period, before closing date.

You have given a bad example - Sandur Manganese and Iron.
The retail investors who are not participated and rejected on technical grounds filed a case against the promoters who subscribed the unsubscribed portion and looted thousands of crore.
I wonder, why the company come out with a rights issue if it's intention is not to raise the money but to loot the retail investors. Instead they should have come with a bonus issue.
SEBI did not take any action...This is India.

It is simple. If you are the existing shareholder you will be offered rights entitlement through the registered mail. Use your demat number and apply like an ipo. If you don’t like to apply for rights and if there is a trading of these in exchange then sell the entitlement and earn some money. 👍👏🙏🏻

You must buy the shares before the record date. And you will be eligible for the right issue. For example if you buy now shares in south indian bank, you are eligible for the rights issue. Still record date and details not announced. During the rights issue they will offer the stock price at discounted value. If you wish, you can buy those again at discounted value.

You have to entitlement from market if it is traded and using that you should apply. Now grasim is coming and record date is jan 10th. Follow that and understand it. Be prepared for future opportunities 👏🙏🏻
