I think this new music is some of the best this band has produced. It’s such a blessing that they’re still making new songs to glory the lord with. Praise God is such a different sound, and it emulates such a glimpse of his holiness & splendor. “Holy Holy holy, is the Lord Our God Almighty” is a simple yet powerful phrase heard in many ways in many songs, and Vertical has managed to find a new one that is so beautiful. I imagine this playing in so many settings, whether it’s a congregation singing together or someone alone, on their knees in a private place, fixated in the movement. I feel lucky to have been in the room for the recording , and I was such a powerful atmosphere. This is the beginning of a new story for the band , as they said that night. I look forward to seeing how God uses this new music. Thank you Vertical Worship, and most importantly praise God!
i couldn’t have said that better and i 100% agree. i’m very young but i attend the hbc elgin campus every sunday and wednesday, and whenever i hear the “buh duh duh” at the beginning of the song i always immediately beam with joy because i love this song and the power behind it. i in fact like it so much that before they offically released it, i would sometimes literally look up a service that they played it at just to listen to it. i saw the lamb, apon the throne, who holds the keys and takes the scroll!
