Half the events in this trailer did not appear in the third film. The teaser at the end of 2.0 was just a way for the creator to troll the fans, as the third movie takes place 14 years in the future and none of the events are explained or shown.
I remember reading a while back, that the studio working on Rebuild lost a lot footage after the 2011 tsunami, so they had to start over. Although I just did a quick search on my theory, and nothing turned up. Oh well.
