The Chevrolet Cruze is an executive sedan offered by the American carmaker in India. It is powered by only one diesel engine that is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Suspension setup on the Chevrolet Cruze is McPherson Strut with linear cylindrical coil spring and tubular stabiliser bar system up front and compound crank type with non linear mini block coil spring at the rear. Braking duties are carried by all disc brakes which are also aided with ABS. The kerb weight of the Chevrolet Cruze is 1,525 kg for the manual variants and 1,560 kg for the automatic gearbox trims.
