Built over hundreds of years, between 1176 - 1439, Strasbourg Cathedral is radically different from any other Cathedral. It was built using new technologies and according to principles never tested before. For the first time, the researchers were able to trace in 3D the incredible history of this project. They reveal how the builders were able to defy the laws of physics to build higher and higher and explain the importance of iron in this stone cathedral.

Absolutely incredible and a must see world monument. The city of Strasbourg itself that surrounds the cathedral is a cultural, architectural and engineering masterpiece as well.

I can't stand the Cathedrals that are missing a tower/spire. Of coarse it's still amazing, but damn. Get that thing balanced back out! Or the ones that have mismatching towers/spires. Like Chartres is absolutely amazing, but such an eyesore!
Amazing, built as a power source. Lots of lies in this documentary still a nice watch.
