I have had over 40years experience in dealing with the hybrid and mongrel Buckfast. All generations after the F1 are a complete disappointment tending to be excessively aggressive and swarm excessively.
@@johnmorgan9435 a buckfast is not for those who care to breed of their own bees. It's offspring are absolutely unpredictable after superseding. The black bee is the very best after all.
The Buckfast are so calm and working hard…thank you - much appreciated!
Thanks Danno, some of mine can be a bit on the aggressive side, maybe its the hybrid vigour
Nice video. I do like and prefer the buckfast bees over the European black bee they are a lot easy to work with. Keep the videos coming 🇮🇪
Thanks Killian, really glad you like the video

@@johnmorgan9435 yes John, from my experience they are very vigorous strong hives, but can be a bit aggressive.

Thanks Christine
Question: what camera are you using? Is it a phone or something else? The details are stunning
Thanks Christine, it's an apple phone
Is verticals videos really a thing? Please resist as it looks terrible with the black bars on the sides.
Apologies Richard, I must have been holding the phone in portrait instead of landscape, thanks for your feedback though.
How do you locate someone that sells bees? I'm having awful difficulty doing so. I'm based in South Dublin
Hello, good to hear from you
It won’t be long now before the swarm season starts, I will have a new swarm then for you if that suits you
@@wexfordwildvalleyhoney7063 I'd absolutely love that!
