WOW!!! Happy Anniversary of the most innovative guitar design of one of the greatest guitar players with one of the best guitars company out there!!! ❤🤘
I have the first version in red, 3 times replaced the electronics (great service, all under warranty) , I repaired that myself the 4th time, but it is still my favorite guitar.
I love the look and feel of the Majesty, especially on a strap. I've owned two of them, but the neck is just too small for me. When I owned one, every time I played it for a few days, then swapped back to another of my guitars, my hand would just breathe a sigh of relief. If the neck was just a bit thicker and the fretboard a tad wider, it would be the perfect guitar for me.
I like the sterling versions of his guitars. I often wish that sterling could do a version of the Steve Morse model. The Orginal versions are getting so rare and expensive now. A budget version would be fantastic. Great guitars though
This guitar came just at the right time because I was just about to purchase a majesty but the only problem that I have is no 7 string… PLEASE MAKE A 7 STRING ERNIE BALL🥺 IM BEGGING YOU🙏
John only has two models in active circulation in the USA music man range in 6 and 7 string (and 8 string for the majesty) variations: the majesty and the JP15
I'll never go on stage with a guitar with the initials of a famous musician, no matter how good he is (And I've been a DT fan since the 90s). Issue a Majesty with no DT or JP branding or logos and I'll be first in line.
It’s a ten year anniversary, they aren’t going to miss that. Also, in terms of actual models, ignoring number-of-string variations, he only has 2 models in circulation on the USA music man side: the majesty and the JP15. The only difference is the colours (and admittedly top materials for the more expensive side, but my point still stands)
It probably costs only 47000 Dollars or something. I remember the days Music Man were pretty affordable for common people to buy. Now only bankers can :)
Weirdly, it’s about the price of the regular line of majesty’s but I will maintain, anything above 1k-2k is way too much for a guitar, even one that’s master crafted like a music man
The problem is that around 10% of the population is left-handed, then whittle that down to left-handed players who like metal and have $4000 to buy a guitar and you have maybe 1 person.
@ I understand, but if music man also makes me 2 colors of the Mariposa for left-handed people which will not have the same price as the Majesty but certainly not cheap. Then for years left-handed JP models were made and they always sold. I don't understand the choice.
Yeah, unfortunatley lot of pro-guitarist don't understand how electric guitars work.😒 But to be fair, I think this guitar also has a piezo pickup which does interact with wood.
When you play it, you can never actually tell. I had my majesty for almost two years before I realised the back plate wasn’t recessed, including gigging with it and recording A LOT of music. I would love to know the thinking behind it though, because it is a little odd
@ What is so odd about it? It is standard that it is recessed. I don‘t like if something sticks out on the back of the guitar. I had that in the past and the guitar always tilted on my belt
Nope. I loved the Majesty design since I first saw it, especially the Artisan range. But I’ve always disliked the inlays, especially the Majesty logo by the first fret. And that shield on the body for some models. But it is a signature model, so if John wants it, I can respect it. Ended up just buying a St. Vincent instead.
@@the.Aruarian yes I think it's one of the best looking guitars ever, but all the signatures is just too much. It's very rare that other signature models have all these references
Doesn't make any sense, already sold out as there is only 50 pieces of this guitar made worldwide... So no chance to buy anyway as new... If someone can afford it 😝
@@Martinroot you could get away with putting in a $100 set of passive no name pickups before anyone would actually notice they aren’t EMGs. Stop trying to justify buying EMGs over any other pickup brand and just play the damn instrument. Additionally, all you’re asking for is the most basic super strat imaginable. Go buy an Ibanez or ESP/LTD if those are the specs you want out of a guitar. The majesty was made to one guitar player’s specs because of what he wanted out of an instrument; if those specs are not to your tastes, look elsewhere for an instrument.
Jeez, the dude was just having some fun saying how he'd spec one out. You, very clearly, are not fun. Also, a "most basic super strat imaginable" won't have a neck through construction.
I wish I could buy one but I need both kidneys
You'll probably need to sell 5 kidneys to buy it lol
Too bad I would have no body parts left to play it if I want to trade some organs for this....oh, man!! Anyways, it looks and sounds sick though!

Legend ❤
You rule too, sir!
so are you man!
Wow! 10 years already. Crazy!
Out of dozens of signature guitars.. This is The best signature guitar.. it just plays itself like butter. 🤘😎🤘
I’m happy!Im owning two of them ❤
We've all been wondering! Sounded wonderful in London during "Night Terror". What a guitar!
Such an inspiring human being you are Mr Petrucci! Class act with never ending creativity. God bless you!
Love you john petrucci ❤
John is awesome!
return to starting poin for majesty history
Unbelievable! I want one
He is LEGEND ❤
"Hi, I am your god." :D Such an inspiration. John is the GOAT!
the best John Petrucci ❤

cool stuff John! You rock in all time signatures!
Gotta get me this guitar so I can plug it in my Roland Cube mini.
Very cool! I'm not sure how many people caught the tin for 10 part! Really cool!

Agreed. Neck feels like a ruler. I hate flat ruler necks. I need something for my palm to grab onto
Beautiful machine. As always pushing the limits... Are you going to make one for Master Steve Morse to celebrate his almost 40th birthday?
MAN IBANEZ WAS THE WAY!
the greatest JP sound
Cool color, I like black hardware a bit more but the chrome makes sense for the overall goal/celebration.
Ernie ball needs to make left handed models period
Amen!
Just stop being left handed

Thats it, im selling my lungs for this!
Someday i might be able to afford it...
This is a guitar for the real pro players! 🎯
When's the anniversary anniversary guitar coming?
Pickup covers look cool
Actually surprised by the pricing. Very reasonable for this!
Would love to get one, but I doubt they will make a lefty!
🤘
🔥
Love the playing, but I have to ask...what on Earth is 3D tone and how does it differ from the 2D tone found on alder guitars?
Figure of speech, he probably meant it in a way that 3d movies differ from regular movies. Seems more real, more present etc...
Great guitar the Majesty is! Thanks JP!

Thank you for ditching okoume for actual Hounduran mahogany! 🙌
I own the Majesty in Siberian Sapphire . Now We live together under a bridge, but it's ok and it was worth it. 🤭
Its been 10 years?!?!?!
I'd probably have to sell both of my kidneys to get this.

Dude they’ve been making seven string majesties for years, there’s even an 8 string
@@angryrabidfoxes7380 ik but the 10th anniversary 7 string would be cool
@ ah I see, yea that’d be a bummer, especially since they’ll be charging out the wazoo for it, it better be EXACTLY what you want
@ man I’m just wishing they’d drop a green sterling majesty, I’d have to save for 10 years to get one of the EBMM’s lol
He should bring back the "Picasso" graphic for a limited run
Essa luz no fundo direcionada pra ele fez ele parecer um messias hahaha Maneirasso! Afinal ele é um messias da guitarra. Long Live John!

What, its been only 10 years of this guitar?
It might have been worthwhile to hear John play a single note on it to understand why anyone should buy it.
I honestly thought it was going to end up costing $10,000! :P
Me too
You sneeze and there is already a new JP Musicman
It’s a ten year anniversary, they aren’t going to miss that. Oh sure. I'll just take out a loan to buy one. Looks amazing, but I don't want to know the price. 🎸🤣
