Helpful acting tip! Let the audience clap and laugh! I know it’s hard but if you start to hear the audience reacting give them a second and when you start to hear them quieting down continue. While your pausing for them to laugh or clap stay in character. The audience is there to enjoy you so let them! It means your doing a good job. If you don’t let them laugh or clap they will eventually give up because they want to hear the dialog.
