Bloodborne has always been one of my favorites, though every time i play it I'm reminded just how *SHORT* the game actually is. Now short isn't bad by any means because what is there is really well done. Now i had a question if i may. Opinion on chalice dungeons? Personally i like them. Yes they get repetitive. Yes they aren't polished. Yes they _may_ be the reason the game is short (FROM probably intended for people to play a bunch of them, making the game time feel much longer than it is). I love the dingeons for that fact that i can fight infinite bosses while collecting infinite resources. Just create a unique dungeon, pick a random weapon, and go for it. I like the idea of chalice dungeons, randomly generated maps that you can dive into with modifiers, that sound great. but as you pointed out 'they aren't polished.' but honestly i think it's less that they aren't polished, and more just in general you can't have them dripping with atmosphere like the rest of the game because they are randomly generated, but they aren't _bad_
Doing my own BL4 run challenge and decided to also made it a Father Gascoigne run, so blunderbust and Hunter axe only. I'm glad to have something to watch so I understand what I'm doing
I wonder how much different using the axe would feel, because of the serration damage and stuff. I think the axe does blunt damage maybe? which would def make it harder haha, good luck my friend, I believe in you!
@@DoomWolfOfficial yea it does make it harder. But I still enjoy the axe as a weapon and it goes well with some fashion. Thanks for believing in me, it may take me forever but for you maybe a week
As I understand it, Righteous damage is not an anti kin modifier the way serrated is to beasts. Righteous damage is a modifier against basically Cainhurst + ghosts in the chalice dungeons. The damage type thats advantageous against kin, other than bolt, is thrust damage

30:00 well that is the only way for it to be fair Unavoidable damage (mostly) isn’t exactly good design, and the boss only gets away with it because it's designed to act as a punching bag for the rally system afterwards.
I could see how unavoidable damage could be used as a teaching moment for the rally system but...that...shouldn't apply to the final boss, the final boss shouldn't be teaching anything it should be a test lol. Hey man wanted to do a bl4 run cause ive done elden ring and ds3, but im wondering how hard is it to farm blood vials and echoes so you can even afford beast blood pellets and papers? Do you just use all the boss echoes for them or do you farm for them and are you at high risk of running low? And is it annoying to farm for the good blood gems? This is the only thing discouraging me as it seems as it would be annoying, Thanks in advance!
since you can't level up yeah you can just use all the echoes from bosses to buy them. But if you want to you could also use the dungeon that grants like 90k echoes for just...entering it? lol, thats up to you, personally I would say its fine because it's just meant to speed up possible farming. farming for good blood gems isn't so bad, the DLC ones is a quick run back and you can quickly take down the winter lanterns, just can't get grabbed haha
Not to be that guy but righteous is only good against vileblood enemies, aka enemies of the church. There is not name for the kin modifier. And the serrated damage is not 20% it depends on weapon and gems and you can even have a negative modifier. Just putting it out there this info isn't really that important

Thanks my friend :)

This is a fine note
it's his dutchness. That's how he is able to do that word fuckage
I'll consult with him on this lol
Not to be that guy but righteous is only good against vileblood enemies, aka enemies of the church. There is not name for the kin modifier. And the serrated damage is not 20% it depends on weapon and gems and you can even have a negative modifier. Just putting it out there this info isn't really that important
I'm totally fine with you being that guy, I love learning so thanks!
