I believe Deep House/Progressive Indie Dance Nu Disco music is going to be on the rise again. Its probably going to be the next trend of electronic music.. as soon as the labels and djs open their eyes and look at that the current state of electronic music, how its not being taken seriously. There's only repetitive beats with no melody, feeling or enjoyment at all. This song is an example of great electronic music.*Music can calm and relax. It reduces stress and negative emotions. It can also help you meditate. Improves moods - Music can lessen depression. Research is proving what many cultures have known; that music heals and has positive psychotherapeutic uses.
I can't argue that this isn't great and that this kind of electronic music isnt great but that doesn't mean all electronic music should be like this, look at the likes of maceo plex, Alan fitzpatrick, third son etc there making superb stuff at the moment that isnt anything like this
Maceo Plex is one artist I've been keeping an eye on for a while. I've included many of his tracks in my mixes. As well as some of those you mentioned. There's all kinds of great music out there, but not like it was 5-7 years ago. It now takes me longer find good songs that are beneath all the junk and gunk! But I do understand you. :)
Maceo Plex uses this style of rhythm very often, just not a much vocal and a little on the kick! Paul Kalkenbrener is the man for melody!!
