Peak Ronaldinho was impossible, nobody could stop him. The thing with him is that by age 25 he had won a World Cup, a Confederations Cup (in which he was golden ball), Copa America, Champions League and two Fifa Player of the Year (currently Ballon D'or). He won everything there was to win. From then on he was very much a party guy, there were endless news of his nightclub antics. He even owned a nightclub in his home city. In many of these scenes in the video it seems like he was toying with the opponents because he was. He entered the field half because he was payed to do it and half just to fuck around. We called him the Showman. He lost the competitive spirit that drives guys like Messi and Cristiano, but made every game a spectacle.
Still he went on to win an Italian Serie A and then came back to Brazil to win a Copa Libertadores, making him the only player ever to win World Cup, Copa America, Confederations Cup, Champions League, Libertadores and Ballon D'or. For reference Messi lacks a Confederations Cup (played but didn't win) and a Libertadores (team didn't qualify).
Also had 2 PS2 games made called fifa street coz of his style of play.
Ronaldinho is the real GOAT!
He won everything in football.. World Cup, champions league, everything
Ronaldinho is a superstar of his time! Wizard is his nickname! He has won every title that can be won in football - He is the 2002 World Champion, 2005-06 Champions League Winner, Spanish Champion, Super Cup Winner, Best Player / Ballon d'Or 2005. One of the best footballers in history. There was no equal to him when Ronnie was at his peak! Although he played with such great players as Rivaldo, Kluvert, Zidane, Ronaldo, Figo, Beckham, Roberto Carlos, Raul, Maldini, Kaka, Shevchenko, Del Piero, Totti, Nedved, etc. it was a great time!!
A simple correction: the Witch, El brujo, was his nickname in Spain.
And I prefer this one.
Ronaldinho was a midfielder, indeed. A very strong, fast, skillful and creative one. His role on field was more bring the attention to him and just pass to the player who was free to score, but he managed to score some amazing goals throughout his career. This playful way of dribbling is just how us brazilians play on streets on weekends, but bringing that to the pro squads made it really really entertaining to watch by that time. Messi got a lot from him, since he was much younger when they were playing together
He was not a midfielder, he was a left-winger

"Ronaldo de Assis Moreira (Porto Alegre, 21 de março de 1980), mais conhecido como Ronaldinho Gaúcho ou simplesmente Ronaldinho, é um ex-futebolista brasileiro *_que atuava como meio-campista ou ponta-esquerda._* Atualmente é embaixador do Barcelona, clube em que fez história."
(Wikipedia - pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronaldinho_Gaúcho )
yup, a midfielder or a left-winger just making it simpler to him. but the point is: he *_wasn't_* a center forward or a striker

And that's former Liverpool legend Steve Gerard faceplanting after being outsmarted by the magician himself.
dont forget about the multiple times he absolutely breaks sergio ramos' ankles in this video
The only man to receive standing ovation from Madrid fans in Santiago bernabeu
Ronaldo & Ronaldinho, the best´s of the world...... No Maradona, no Messi
rachei os bico vendo ele dizer que R10 as vezes perde o controle da bola kkkkkkkkkk
What is he known for? Best player of all time
10:41 » that #4 over there confused the goalie that thought he could touch it with his head, so he "waited too long" and had no reflex to the ball coming directly to him, he was preparing to jump 😅
Essa é a diferença entre os jogadores brasileiros são diferenciados para nos futebol e arte! Não basta fazer gol tem que dar show 🎉 Ronaldinho foi o mentor de Messi!
RESPCT 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Several of the different jerseys and colors you seen are just different sets of away gear.
Right before he played for Barça he played for PSG and immediately after Barça he played for Milan.
