Didn't knew that you could drug the meat by putting the yellow flower in the stew and then dip the meat in it. I always used the petals directly on the meat in the inventory menu to drug it.
A funny (but weird) detail is that if Guybrush picks up the vase before entering the door, he gets out during the first part of the fight with Shinetop and put it back, but if you don't. Guybrush will get it anyway and uses it so smash it on the Sherrif. Don't know why they programmed in that.
It's nice getting back to sips' videos, To but in perspective when I started watching sips I was waiting for the second episode of skyrim. Glad to see his videos are still great!

I honestly don't understand what they were thinking when they designed the "remake" of Elaine Marley. In the original, it is immediately clear that she is supposed to be a strikingly good looking woman. In the new stylised look, she just looks weird as fuck, there is nothing about her that would make you feel like she is supposed to be a beautiful character aside from Guybrushes reaction. The hair and the expression on her face in the new remade look just makes me scratch my head in disbelief. Fucking what. Just listen to how Sips reacts to changing the graphics back to the old one. That right there is a pristine example of how bad of a job the remade Elaine is. "Look at these old graphics, she looks amazing!" Fucking what.
Yes, but sips keeps skipping the story dialog options (probably distracted by shiny lights). Short version is LeChuck wanted to marry Elaine, she told him to drop dead, he did, then came back as a ghost to haunt her.
Wait, he wants something to attract attention, but doesn't really have any value? So, a teen television star (Or teen pop singer) should be enough to please him, right?
Just go back to the pixel art. Unless it removes the voice acting it will just be better because they changed so much with the new Disney esc graphics.
I never played this game - the special edition that is - because the artistic direction is just god awful. The complete lack of animations meshes poorly with the polished graphics, and the style itself rubs me the wrong way simply on its own. The special edition of Monkey Island 2 was a big improvement, simply due to how close it felt to the original game. It was an updated version, whereas this is more of a visual re-imagining of an old classic. Which, considering my nostalgia, had literally no way of winning me over, no matter how many flashy water effects they added. The music and the voice work is a great addition on the other hand.
So wait. To progress, you need to pick a yellow flower on the way to Danton, and then use that flower on the stew. Was there any indication of that in the game, or is Sips 100% justified in trying random things?
