100% better than the Cybertruck, 100% The best EV pickup for sale in the UK, 100% The worst pickup in the UK overall
Correct
well said!
They need to raise the motor and lower the price.
Definitely
I went to Everything Electric in London back in March, which had the Maxus T90 EV, and I thought it was the most basic new elected car showcased at the event.
Not saying it’s inherently bad, but come on.
EV Vans can often feel as basic on the inside, commercial EV is still streets behind passenger EV
In fairness, I have seen lease deals around £100 p/m so at that price I guess its not terrible.
@@CarsofGlasgow I guess it makes more sense to lease this stuff than to pay the whole £50K for it.
Oh absolutely. For £99 a month when the promotion was run it was a pretty reasonable rate 😅
@@BuckleUpShow 100%!
Paid 25k new
Now who's laughing filling up at £100 a time. Does 220 miles easy. It's not perfect but not that bad boys.
It could use a lot of improvement, if it couldn't you wouldn't have been able to buy it for half price brand new
Crew cab pickups are the worst packaged vehicles I’ve ever seen. They’re literally a waste of space. And they’re bloody everywhere.
Okay but say you need to carry 3+ farmers, a ton of grain or gates and tow a sheep trailer all at once, what form of vehicle would be better?
@@BuckleUpShow A good usage case. However most people carry a laptop and a reusable coffee cup in theirs. And it pains me to say that part of me wants one.
Fun review fellas. No wonder they were offering lease deals on these for £99 a month
And there's a good chance they will again, or they could fit awd, better infotainment, a heat pump as standard, lift the interior material quality and retune the ride to justify the price
Didn't mention it had a five year warranty!
Ford and VW 3 years 😅
KGM is five years also, Toyota is ten
£50k is about £30k too much for this truck 🙃
Still better than a cybertruck though
I would expect this to be a lada riva upgrade at half the price 😬
I'm afraid I don't follow
It’s feels like a prototype
I know what you mean, but even though a prototype might be disfunctional in some ways it would have an exciting interior and flashy styling, this is more like a test mule where they've just chuck d an EV drive train under a car that it could fit under to test it and then gone "hang on, maybe we could get away with selling this as it sits?"
@@BuckleUpShow that electric Ranger can’t come soon enough
