I just lost my mother last year October and it's something I never imagined would happen. It's never something that you can prepare for. Every time I look at her pictures, I'm in shock and it hurts, every time realizing that she's not here anymore, especially because it seemed like something that she could have recovered from. She had Cancer, but it went away and she started getting better and eating more and getting her weight and health back, but then it returned, but not as bad and before she can start her treatment again, she caught walking pneumonia, which caused her not to be able to start her treatment and it gotten worse. The cancer started traveling through her body pretty quickly, but the thing was.. the first hospital we took her to, they couldn't figure out what it was and they kept giving her the wrong treatment and when we noticed she wasn't getting better, we immediately took her to another hospital that figured it out immediately, but by that time the cancer spread too much throughout her body. She spent almost 2 months in MICU, until she passed. 5 months later and it still seems like it was just yesterday, when I was kicking it with her, and seeing her smile and laugh, but at the same time noticing how my world is changing now that she's gone. It's real hard to move on, but I understand that there's nothing that I can do to bring her back and that she would want me and the rest of her children to live on and live the best life that we could possibly live. There's no real advice and closure that you can give someone that lost someone a loved one, but the best thing IMO, is being around family and good friends that can relate and possibly provide a bit of comfort. Losing someone, I wouldn't want anyone to experience it, but we all have to experience it, because it's life. My condolences to anyone that's lost someone. Love your family and friends, be there whenever/however you can and make sure that you let them know all the time that they're loved. It's all that we can do 🙏💞‼️
I also lost my mother whom I was very close to, and took care of for 8 years while she battled cancer. She lost her fight in September. It was the darkest days of my life. Talking about it helped, Haveing people surrounding me helped. So, I know what youre going through still today, cause its still fresh. My heat goes out to you, man. ❤
Cody is a good dude, mega talented wrestler and smart businessman, respect to you Sir. Ryan, As someone who’s lost a parent I send you my condolences and I hope that you are comforted in the knowledge that your loved one now flies with the angels
Great interview as always Ryan and so sorry for your loss. I lost my father around this time last year and it's been tough but trust me it'll get better but condolences to you and your family 🙏
CODY RHODES YOU ARE ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING!!!!! I would do anything to be able to meet you. Your such a pure, amazing soul. Do not ever change, YOU are a god sir.
Lost my dog that was with me 14 years (scoff at me, I don't care) and my close friend of 17 years within months of each other, and it's something I'm honestly not sure I can ever come back from, we all deal with loss differently, though, and some people feel better just saying how important those they lost were to them
People who scoff just don't get it. I've lots tons of PEOPLE and imo losing a dog is harder. I think it has to do with the fact that they show true unconditional love and that's just hard to find from humans.
People that scoff at people like us that get emotional after losing a dog don't look at them the same... To me they are the most important member of my family...
lost my mom a year ago tomorrow... so ive have a semblance of an idea of what youre going through. but hearing Cody's interview after Mania with Steve Austin when he was talking about his dad helped me so much. sending you so much love Ryan. thank you for the conversation at the beginning
I love how Cody always makes time and embraces the environment and reality of the moment with those cameos at the end haha Love what you do, Ryan and my condolences for you in this time of loss.
I feel that's what makes Cody feel real. Like he is not shy to show that he has built a team of talented people around him and is willing to give said people a shout out. It makes it feel like he is letting you in said group of talent with him.
It’s not necessarily hereditary, but a lot of our speech patterns and such are based off of our parents since they’re the ones who originally teach us how to speak and they’re the first and mainly the only voices we hear when we’re developing. So, it’s really possible for children to develop a parent’s speech impediment.
Yeah same as with people with accents from different parts of the world, the accent isn’t hereditary but they learn it through their elders and hearing the way they talk, same case here I guess
Ryan, RIP to your dad. I know what you’re going through, so I send my condolences to you and your family. Grief and sadness will come in waves randomly, but fear not. When you allow yourself to feel that wave, it usually unlocks a good memory of your loved one. Then, the wave will dissipate after a good cry or pause of reflection and gratitude - that you got to experience that relationship at all - in the first place.
I've lost unfortunately alot of family members over the years,,,I can definitely relate, it is soo tough, both my grandmother's, my aunt, my uncle and sis in law! It's tough
Lost my dad in 2010, two months later found out I was pregnant, had my son three weeks after what would have been my dad’s birthday. Dad’s birthday was October 1 my son was born October 23. So to this day October is always a bitter sweet month. 13 years since dad died and it’s not any easier
I'm sorry for your loss 🎉 condolences 🙏 I lost my mom at the start of the pandemic and the process of getting past the grief can definitely be a struggle. So glad to see Cody Rhodes on the rise 😎👍 he's definitely a charismatic and intelligent athlete and I'm looking forward to seeing his star 🌟 shine bright. Great 👍 show guys
Really poignant interview here between the two of you - well said on so many things, touching upon loss. Just super genuine all around, lovely to see for someone going through something similar.
I quit watching wrestling a couple years before Cody debuted in WWE and since I come back last year he has quickly become my favorite wrestler. Along with Seth but Cody seems like a real dude, and has respect for normal folks. That means a lot in my eyes
I remember watching Who frame Roger Rabbit when I was 7. I thought that movie was made for kids until I try to take it to school and have it shown. I watch it again when I was an adult and realized that movie was not made for kids.
He likes the Rocky where he loses before coming back, huh? Honestly. Everyone assumes it's a foregone conclusion that Cody wins the belts at WM. And it'll be awesome if he does. But it is not guaranteed. I bet part of him feels that it might well make a better story to do it that way.. Who knows! I'm along for the ride either way.
🦁 🌹 🌹 🦁 Hey Cody, do you really know that you are better than all those names you mentioned?? Please, put a little more swagger to your entrance. You can be better than my idol (Shawn Michaels, ) Shawn Michael still my best and to beat that standard, you need more swagger, dance if possible because, you already got all the strength and strategies right. We love you. God bless you Cody 👍
Cody beats roman at mania for both belts Gunther loses to whoever he faces and sheamus/McIntyre feud. Gunther wins universal belt from Cody and the belts are once again split and the IC belt has a quality feud behind it . Just a prediction
Sadly WWE will continue to shove Roman reigns down the throat of the fans like always. Cody definitely deserve it to be champion tho. But WWE doesn't know it.
Even if it is Cody's idea, it is a very bad one. If Cody fails to beat Roman at mania, we are back to square one with no top face in the company. There are now two people who are in position to be the face of the company and if they dont pull the trigger now, they will become just regular wrestlers in the company.

Report back to those women. My dad told me when I was little and first encountered divorce, if my mom left he was going with her. Cody reminds me of that with Brandie.
Why does everyone forget about Bruno when they speak about longest runs as champion??? Granted for this generation there probably won't be anyone else to hold it as long as Roman has but he hasn't held it the longest in WWE history...

What did you think of the promo with Paul Heyman?
Paul Heyman is a genius
Amazing promos ❤️🤩🤩🤩🤩
He talk about Nathan Gois and talk Nathan Gois challenge Brock Lesnar for a last Man Standing match at Money in a bank 2023
That was absolutely heart-Touching like actual they act as aconversation with two greatest worker in own field .
