The roots don't seem to stay very healthy in so much moss. I grow mine in a clay pot and the roots are free and healthy. Would you advise a small open pot to keep the crown supported?
if you don't want to pot them up in the tradinaly form could you show other ways? Also what are the seasonal, upkeep on watering, fertilizing lighting and so forth? t/y
I have four larger orchids that I have never repotted. Their roots are going wild everywhere! How do you suggest I attempt to repot them? Or, should I just let them be?

Hi, where can I buy the long fiber sphagnum? I see Better Grow has it, but the package doesn't said.
The second method doesn't seem to give a hollow core? I read elsewhere the hollow core is to help air flow. Is it ok to not have the hollow core?

how do you water the plant potted this way? do you just dunk the whole thing in a large bucket or bowl?
