Thank you for this.
This is one of the most accurate readings of the Dupre Toccata I’ve ever heard. Llongyfarchiadau Dewi!
love all the camera angles and all-round fab playing
Fantastic concert, shame we couldn't see it on the 20th! I am greatly looking forward to upcoming recitals featuring my favourite organ!
incredible Dewi!
i loved playing on this organ- i love the organ loft - you could fit an orchestra up there lol
Very generous and considered camera angles and editing. The quality of playing in such streamed recitals is, of course, excellent. Well done, and thank you.
The first piece was fabulous - you really can't go wrong with Bach, and I have that same piece on a recording by Albert Schweitzer! Not sure about the follow-ups as they are unfamiliar, but lovely to hear the sound of the Abbey organ once again. Also I loved the organist's socks.....
Very well played with confidence. The tempo of the Bach was consistent, just right and not hurried . A mistake made by many organists in recitals and recordings. The Durufle was extremely ambitious of you because it is not easy. Well prepared and played, in fact phenomenally played. You should play it at Westminster Cathedral in London. So a big well done, you have a great career ahead of you.
May I also say how well turned out and professional you look
Well done to Dewi, it would be nice to have more of these from my local Cathedral. It's also a nice change to see the organ from different angles. Is there any particular reason for the Mono sound track?
Good news, there are three more to come over the next few weeks.
