The fact that even though the content in the State of Play was announced on Twitter days before it happened and it was in the description of video and yet people still got upset shows that we live in a society.
Some of us behave differently on this app. I tap on this video, and tilted my phone right away for full screen display. So yeah we don't read video description right away, and I normally check the video description at the end if there's a link to some pages/reference that I want to check out 🤷🏼♂️

I get that they putted specifically in the description the games that are going to be showcased, but this was meant for a simple gameplay trailer instead of an entire event which by the name of it (State of Play) suggests more games to be showcased than only one.
I read the Description, and this was still literally nothing. It might aswell have just been a trailer instead of an event. And it should have just said Subnautica Below Zero and Among Us instead of teasing some "anonymous" games.
I agree, but Instead of being conspicuous with the indie games, they could have just said Below Zero and Among Us. I never expected GTA, but I was so giddy to see FNAF SB, and this just felt like such a tease.
For context: people in the live chat didn’t bother to look at the description that literally says there’s a 15 min showcase of the new R&C game. So near the end people were saying they were bored or they get it or downright spamming sleeping emojis. And when it ended people were booing in the chat and saying it was a waste of time and one guy even said he was gonna report it for wasting time.
Not everyone reads a description of a UA-cam video? especially when most people who are just casual gamers see "State Of Play" they are gonna expect something else. So your basing this on something really vague tbh. They also could have easily just named it "Ratchet and Clank gameplay as the title" but we all know that wouldn't have go the same amount of view as listing it "State Of Play". And even so the game looked boring and generic.

Last few weeks, I played Ratchets 1 through 3 on PS3 (along with Jak 1-3), and they mostly still hold up really well. For its time it was a masterclass in gaming. Seems like Rift Apart does its ancestors proud.

@@Altri82 This game wouldn't really work on last gen's slow HDDs and graphical fidelity is too much for old gen to handle so it's literally a current/next gen game. And cartoonish style is great. There's enough realistic looking graphics already. But you can have your opinion of course.

Rift Apart looks incredible, cannot wait to play it. The Ratchet and Clank games have always been some of the most pure enjoyment you can get out games, like a Mario game.
Just as a little tip Sony, it's ok to titles such events as just Ratchet and Clank State of Play and only include one game. Then have a separate Indie State of Play the following week. Though I also know the plan is to get more people to just click the video as aimless UA-cam scrollers wouldn't see the Twitter post and people rarely actually read the description of a vid before watching.

This state of play was a waste of time 1 out of three of the games were just now revealed and that new game could have easily been made into a single UA-cam video so yeah. Disappointing, especially after reading the description. I expected more out of PlayStation, instead of just wasting our time.

Rift Apart looks incredible, cannot wait to play it. The Ratchet and Clank games have always been some of the most pure enjoyment you can get out games, like a Mario game.

Just as a little tip Sony, it's ok to titles such events as just Ratchet and Clank State of Play and only include one game. Then have a separate Indie State of Play the following week. Though I also know the plan is to get more people to just click the video as aimless UA-cam scrollers wouldn't see the Twitter post and people rarely actually read the description of a vid before watching.

This state of play was a waste of time 1 out of three of the games were just now revealed and that new game could have easily been made into a single UA-cam video so yeah. Disappointing, especially after reading the description. I expected more out of PlayStation, instead of just wasting our time.

I'm here. Been playing ever since 2009. I might not sound like an og since the series started in 2002 but I was born in 2005 so there's not much I can do about that. I've been playing the series for 12 years though, which is about 3/4 of my life
