Are you using a soldering iron to heat & bond the peels together? I've tried several glues to do some repair and nothing will stick to the resin rattan.
Then you are screwed. We've had 2 swivel chairs and 4 standard chairs all fail. Synthetic materials like this biodegrade and fall apart. They're crap and we'll never buy this stuff again.
