I don't play GG but how are you supposed to beat a character that has meterless guard cancels that do damage and can kill? Can you react to it and blitz it or something? It looked like that first Sol crouched under it too?
you can bait them out, either "safe jump" them, cancel your own moves, or just run up and throw them. Baiken is always more vulnerable than others to throws because the player will be more focused on countering! Baiken's defense is also more fragile than others'.
+Woocash1618 I noticed her guard cancel move whiffing on the opponent? does it whiff on crouchers and low profiling or something?

I dont blame Kakkou for playing Baiken, but I hope he sticks with Ram. We need god like ram players.
I don't know but I think Hohiko has been doing better lately as Ram. My favorite Ram was still Karinchu's though.

Wow, Kakkou has a completely different playstyle than Sharon. It might because Kakkou is actually using the counters.
Edit: Who was that venom? He was pressing all the right buttons at the right time. It was like he had matchup experience...or I dont watch enough Venom lol.

While that might be one difference, it just seems like Kakkou is using all of Baikens tools.
Same here since that's her whole gimmick.
I don't know who that Venom is but he was doing really well in this match-up, especially later on when he started baiting Baiken's guard cancels or Suzurans.
Sharon's strategy as far as the counters seems to be use them rarely enough that the enemy forgets about them, and then suddenly there's a sword slicing through them. It's less exciting, but definitely effective, and actually similar to how you'd play Potemkin; train them to play wrong against you (cover up and block against Potemkin, get overaggressive and attack into Baiken).

Kakkou really is determined. That's why i only watch fighting games because i would be really disheartened hitting a wall like that Venom multiple times.

Yep, its identical to his original 6HS but its a little more safer to use on hit and frame adv.
