- An evening in Nagold / Germany. I do not remember the gain settings for all scenes precisely, but for the ones I have indicated I am pretty certain. From my perspective the very best low light performance I have experienced with a 1" sensor. Great job, Sony.
Shot with out of the box settings for s-Cinetone, UHD, 25p.

Thank you! When someone in the Sony Z200 NX800 User facebook group laments or asked about how the low light is, I direct them to your video.
I would agree. It's perfectly fine.
Thank you for posting the footage. The shot at 18db of the large square building (2:36) looked pretty clean and detailed. If you have the chance to shoot any more with the camera, it would be great to see a locked off shot of the same building starting at 0db and increasing the gain in 6db increments to see how the camera holds the highlights and detail in the upper gain levels. This camera looks like a great release. I am waiting to see some more footage with skin tones to make my final judgement.
Really pretty footage, thank you for sharing. I think the low-light capability is sufficient; I actually worry more about dynamic range. Would love to see some high contrast daytime scenes as well if you have the time. Thank you also for not grading these with some ugly look... makes it really difficult to actually judge camera performance when it has been altered. Very much appreciated.
This is pretty damn usable... this camera is going to be a beast of a work horse
I fully agree.
Great footage, thanks for sharing! I've been waiting to see some good low light footage. I looks like the camera holds up pretty well under extreme conditions. That was my only concern with the camera. My mind is now made up. I will be getting the z200.
We are lucky signing him. If we were lost him for liverpool, OMG.....
Very impressive for a 1.0 type sensor! Thanks for sharing.
I am also impressed. Had the Z90 before, this I think is much improved.
Very nice super
thanks!!
Do you have the Z150, could you compare the cameras for low light to see which one is better?
How is the zoom speed? Traditionally these camcorders have very slow zoom speed ramps which makes them unsuitable for sports livestreamings. There are some rare exceptions like the JVC HM650 which has a fantastic fast zoom speed. Thanks.
I have no experience with zoom in sports. In my work I only use much slower zooms if any. The camcorder does have a zoom setting 'FAST' . It takes about a second for the full zoom range (no scientific test though).
@@klausschneider2757 a second from wide to tele is decent. Further testing would we welcome.
I would probably use the zoom ring for that purpose. Nice fast, smooth crash zooms.
A comparison camera would make this video important.
What shutter speed was used .
1/50 th - 180 degree
Did you deep-dive the menu Does this camera have dual sensitivity? Like Sony Z-280 and Sony FX-6 have. At Zero db one can up the sensitivity.
I did go through the menu and did some quick ISO tests. However I could not find any indication of dual base ISO.
it’s this footage stander or you did some edit
which plat you did s-cinton or s-log 3
what plat you did xavc s-i or what
The description says S-Cinetone. It's very nice!
I have noise when I'm filming. Can you tell me the tips and settings I use when I'm filming in low light?
I was filming with s-cinetone, 4k and out of the box settings. Did you change the noise reduction?
@@klausschneider2757
How to change the noise reduction?
@@fokalestudio Did you ever realize the camera has a menu with all settings ? 😄
I feek like I'm watching a japanese daytime drama
