I'm surprised at how profound this video is, but I fully agree, he should do stuff as a hobby because that way it doesn't feel like he's carrying unneeded weight on his shoulders. It's sad how as you mentioned, we live in a society where honor is a distant memory, where you get your life ruined over saying stupid things in the past. I deleted a lot of my old videos because of copyright strikes because I didn't know back in the days we could just set the video to private. I regret it now but hindsight is 20/20, so they say.
I wasn't a hardcore fan of his, I just interacted with him back in the days because we both made videos and had an inside joke about my love for Sea Monster. Sometimes glory is overrated if it isn't a physical thing. Online fame can mess with your head if you dive head first into it.
I think he's going to regret this in the future plus when he retired he did promise he wouldn't delete the channel so I guess he's not a man of his word

I feel that he will regret his decesion in tbe future. Deleting his channel wasn't really a wise decision in my opinion.
