Rhian and Hester are always teasing interviewers. The towns in the Isle of Wight they come from both have populations of well over ten thousand so when they agreed that there were fewer people who lived there than were in the studio at the time they looked delighted when the interviewers believed them!
The Isle of White is so famous for its concerts perhaps the best concert ever in the uk.1970 infront 600.0000

I am totally obsessed with this band! Love the 80's vibe, with some Strokes and Yeah, Yeah, Yeah's thrown in, with a pinch of Bjork. But more than anything, like in all music, it's about the songs and these are some fucking hooky songs!! Killer!
Actually Sweetgreen is amazing and sourced their food from local farmers personally vetted by the company. Why their quality it the best. The ladies are correct and spot on with their food choices and their music magic. It’s all just fun, what we need but didn’t know we needed it. 🤗🙌

KROQ morning show has gone downhill since they got rid of Kevin & Bean. These two are terrible. They babble on about nonsense, are horrible interviewers, and are not an ounce of funny. I bet bands are wondering, who are these kooks who know nothing about music? It's too bad. I don't even listen to KROQ anymore because of them.
I hate to say it, but you're so right. They've totally misjudged this band.
I'm Canadian so this KROQ is a little different than things I'm aware of, but I've heard a number of quality performances billed under the name.

As they got ready to play the song Cannonball by the Breeders came to mind, no idea why. The girl on the far right is so spacy and quiet it's funny, but the two seem to get along really well.

I've been listening to Wet Leg's album since release in April and it's an astoundingly great debut Album. Listening to the Glastonbury crowd do the 'longest and loudest scream' was one of the funniest, coolest things i've seen from a live show at a big outdoor festival. You don't often see the backstage guys grinning from ear to ear but that's what Wet Leg brings, pure joy! They are great live !
Thankfully, Hester and Rhian are so charming no matter what complete fucking idiots are interviewing them as these two clowns are toxic I can only guess they are from 'the zany morning crew' from their station or some similar bullshit. Christ Almighty.

Wet Leg is great. They are so fun to listen too and watch. Perhaps the two clowns interviewing them should stop trying so hard at being obnoxious and try to be a little more laid back. They appeared so aggressive and ready to pounce on the girls. I wish they could have presented themselves in a more artistic way and conducted the interview in that light verses the TMZ gorillas they portrait. Bravo Wet Leg. I apologize for the way you were treated. All Americans are not like those two.

It's a real challenge to interview people who are shy and reticent but it can be done - in ways that are cleverer than what these two did. It's like sports - when you realise the other team isn't playing the game you thought they would or you wanted them to, you have to change your play. Don't expect them to get in with you off the bat. I wonder if they did pre-interview prep with the girls.

Last year I saw Wolf Alice on Pohoda festival in my country, I was very much looking forward to it, but I was a bit disappointed - they played well, no doubt about that, but they were sort of "disconnected" from the audience. Wet Leg are coming to the same place this year and hopefully there will be some more energy exchange between them and the audience.
Nice set up stage. Great to hear and see Wet Leg live for the first time here. Cute girls from the UK. The energetic contrast between Klein, Ally and the girls being interviewed was funny.
I bought tickets to see them in Denver. :(

If I were in the band I would be concerned 😟, all about the singers, seen that SO many times before, actually watching, the ladies tend to play one chord band are safe, retract singer can only play one chord, boys your safe 😉

KROQ needs to up their host game. These two dreary and drab hosts have seen better days. Not the KROQ of old, that's for sure.
